From the moment we arrived at Kunlun Jing’an Hotel, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The front desk staff welcomed us with warm smiles and impressive efficiency. Despite arriving during a busy time, we were checked in within 10 minutes. We stayed on the executive floor, with a stunning skyline view of Shanghai. The room 3515 made our stay memorable. Access to executive lounge was absolutely amazing. The room itself was fantastic , spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, featuring a large, well-appointed bathroom stocked with every amenity one could need. The attention to detail was evident throughout, and the housekeeping service was top-notch. In particular, we were deeply impressed by Ms. He Xiuyun from housekeeping, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort every evening. Her thoughtful touches and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our stay. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. The variety and quality were excellent , from continental and English options to a rich array of Chinese dishes. There were gluten-free selections, whole wheat breads, and plenty of fresh, flavorful choices to suit every palate. The service during breakfast was exceptional, with staff ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience each morning. As guests of the executive floor, we had access to the Executive Lounge throughout our stay , a peaceful retreat with excellent service and amenities. We were especially impressed by Miss Stella Shen and Mr. Bob Liu, who were consistently friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Their hospitality and professionalism made a lasting impression and significantly contributed to our overall satisfaction. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Shanghai, just steps from Jing’an Temple and within a two-minute walk to the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. At a nightly rate of 1200 RMB (approximately €120), the value offered is exceptional given the quality of service, location,...
Read moreThis is the place you find the essence of classiness and sophistication that only time can sculpt. The refinement is not reflected from the flashy and shining emptiness of other new high-rises, but from its condensation of polished services and solidly grounded confidence that presented before you. The breakfast has more than 50 kind of delicacies including Swiss cheese, French croissant, traditional Shanghai steam buns (小笼包) and pickles that I missed for many years.
We checked in from the executive floor. The executive lounge server free drinks and cocktails for free. The hotel location is close to the former French concession area, where we walked to enjoy the unique architectures and ever changing daily life of the local residents.
We had a great hair styling experience in the hotel. The stylist recommended totally different but very trendy Asian style that we don't see in the States. We carried the new cuts to our trip to Hong Kong and felt fit in very well. We educate our stylist back in the States to throw the buzzers and pick up scissors.
The greatest experience came from the its health club. Our fatigue and soreness from the walking all soaked away in the gigantic Jacuzzi pool, wet and dry sauna rooms. The cold drink with lemon cut wake me up from the heated indulgence.
BTW, there are many flight crews with Australian accent stay here. We look forward to the next trip and definitely recommend this hotel to...
Read moreThis hotel is what you would expect in a Hilton branded hotel. It is modern, clean, well located and boasting all the amenities you would need. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with great views. It is located a short walk to a main shopping thoroughfare that is an experience in itself. The lobby lounge is very comfortable and an ideal place to rest up and have a drink and something small before retiring to the room to get ready for dinner. We found the food at the hotel more identifiable than many of the restaurants we viewed in and around the neighbourhood. The staff were friendly upon arriving and checked us in quickly despite a large number of people waiting to check in. Staff in the lounge were also very pleasing and friendly. We have had some Asian staff in other hotels that are a little cold and distant. This was not the case at the Shanghai Hilton. The staff from the doorman to the room maintenance people were all very warm and kind. If you like walking, you can walk from the hotel to the famous Shanghai riverfront that is dotted with architecture from the early days of Shanghai's trading days which are totally different from all the modern glass and light high-rises that...
