Disappointing Stay – NOT Recommended for International Travelers or Light SleepersWe stayed here for four nights and were left quite disappointed by several aspects of the hotel.1. Noise Issues:The room was not soundproof at all. Road noise from passing cars was constant, and worse, you can hear every single door slam and conversation in the hallway — it felt like the walls were made of paper. Resting was nearly impossible, especially at night.2. Misleading Room Information:We were placed in a separate building that is not connected to the main lobby, and this was not clearly disclosed on Trip.com when we booked. As travelers unfamiliar with the property layout, there was no way to tell the difference between buildings from the listing. The building we stayed in also had no covered walkway, so every time it rained, we had to run in to avoid getting drenched — whether it was returning from a Didi ride or picking up food deliveries. I did go to the reception requesting for a room switch within the shaded area as I have a senior citizen with me and since we were staying for four nights, but were told it was fully booked (the reception didn’t even bother checking their system) despite me saying that I don’t mind moving even on the coming days.3. Poor Accessibility Support:There is a short flight of stairs before you can reach the lift in the building we were assigned to. With luggage, this was a hassle. While the hotel displays a local contact number to call for assistance, it’s not helpful for international guests without a local SIM card. We had no choice but to walk all the way back to reception to ask for help. What made this worse was that we saw the butler assisting local tourists with their luggage, but despite it being obvious I was struggling with mine, no help was offered to us. It left a negative impression and felt inconsistent, if not selective.Would not recommend this property for international travelers or anyone who values peace, accessibility, and basic hospitality. Please do not be tricked by the 4 star rating, it felt more like a 2 star hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is its location which is close to Line 2,7 and 14. You can take Line 2 to go to the airport and the entrance to the metro has escalators, which is easier for...
Read moreThe only thing good about this hotel is location & it’s cheap, but I won’t ever stay here again. The room on their East Bldg is so dreadful that I thought it was a * hostel. Alleyway carpets are soiled, dirty & smelly, the room they gave me is obviously very old, everywhere is moldy (especially the shower area), and every piece of furniture had scratches that I think looks very dirty too. When you look out the window, directly outside is a local house, so there’s absolutely no choice but to close my curtains if I don’t want people to see me (at one point they were staring at me creepily). Although the lobby looks grand, they obviously just focus on maintaining that, nothing else was good. Check in was too long & butlers didn’t even attempt to help me even if I was right in front of them when I was struggling with my luggage. Lastly, the early morning when I was gonna checkout, it was raining hard. And since one would need to walk outdoors to get from the East Bldg to the Main and I had no umbrella, l naturally asked for an umbrella by calling on the phone located by the door of the East Bldg. The receptionist on duty answered & he first insisted that they don’t have any umbrella to offer. It was not until I yelled & told him that he needs to help me because I’m checking out & had to get to the Main Bldg, before he finally said that he will get someone come over with an umbrella. I waited for about 10-20mins and no one came, so I just decided to walk out in the rain. When I got to the Main Bldg, i was naturally drenched, and this receptionist guy even smiled smirkingly when he saw me as i gave him my room card. I will never ever stay in this hotel again & I highly advise anyone not to commit the same...
Read moreHOTEL BREAKFAST NOT RECOMMENDEDThis has been my third time at this hotel, and it was always a pleasant stay. This was my first time however to try the breakfast, which was a deeply disappointing experience. Western breakfast options are practically non-existent, even though it is stated as such on the hotel's page. Seating space is small compared to the number of guests. Breakfast service staff is slow and seems completely disinterested. The breakfast area is far from clean. Staff starts clearing away the food already 30 minutes before the actual end of breakfast service. When I brought up with the hotel after the first day that we would like to cancel the breakfast due to the fact that we are not satisfied with it, they declined this option and directed us to the booking intermediary. When raising this with Trip.com, the hotel also declined the cancellation of breakfast through them also. I find it completely ridiculous that such a large hotel does not allow you to cancel a breakfast booking when you bring up the lack of quality options. If I ever end up staying at this hotel again, I would NEVER go for the...
