We're family with kids. Stays 4 nights in family room (double 2 bed 35-50sq.m.)This is not a HOTEL. This is more like a ROOM RENTAL.You're fail to many of these security points. And I don't get any confirmation from you to admit the problem and ensure to solve this problem. Your management team are careless on SECURITY. 👎🏻Face scaner ...anyone can pass through. I see on my own eyes. No hotel staff there.👎🏻Shared elevator .... anyone can go to any floor.👎🏻Security man ...no uniform, not well trained👎🏻Communication ....reception can not speak English at all.👎🏻Problem solving....no one come to laundry room to check with me. I was on my own alone. You work so slow. I see you in front of my room, difficult and take time to explain what happened. Poor problem solving skillThis place shared space with other restaurant and other hotel in other floors. So we shared elevator. Although, the hotel required the face scaner registration,actually anyone can pass through the gate, the most importantly, they can go to any floor. I see food deliveryman walking around. When I ask the staff, I was shocked with the reply. she said this is fine because you have room keycard. No one can get into your room. I was in laundry room where located inside the fitness room. While I was working with my cloth, that old man security guard turned off the light and slum the door without an eye seeing the laundry room is in used. I was so panic at that time. Because it was dark, alone, cannot see anyone or anything in the fitness room at all. This hotel hire this man with no trustworthy, no training, no uniform. Read moreA few of the positives about our stay is the room was spacious and clean. Even though we had no windows, the room was not stuffy at all. This place is also centrally located next to the Nanjing Road and close to a metro station. Staff was nice.Some shortcomings include no sound proofing - we heard construction noises, doors slamming and chatter from the hallway. A negative experience we had was we checked in really late because our flight was delayed and found out our room type was unavailable for the night. As such they were upgrading our room just for the night but we had to vacate the next morning, bring our luggage down, and check-in to our original room type. Or else we had to pay to continue using that room for the rest of our 4 night stay. This felt like a very unreasonable practice, we were dead tired from our 4am flight due to the delay, we wanted to just unwind and rest, now we had to worry about unpacking for our toiletries and change of clothes and then re-packing our luggage the very next morning. After complaining, they agreed to help move our luggage between the rooms for us, but that was all they could offer.Areas for improvement include improving laundry service. For a hotel this big, we expected more than just 2 laundry machines. Because the entry to the rooms require facial recognition, it was not convenient for food delivery drivers to deliver straight to our hotel room, some of the drivers had to meet us in the lobby. The lobby was chaotic, with a strong foul odors spreading through the corridors and smell of smoke in the corridors . No one helped with our luggage up to the room , which added to the poor welcome.The room didn’t match the listing it lacked the washing machine and mini kitchen shown in the app. When we complained, they offered a bigger room, but it came with a hallway view, not the city view we paid for, which is unacceptable regardless of room size, so I refused.The air conditioning was weak, and the fan that already provided wasn’t a bonus , it was compensation. After complaining, they gave us another fan , so the room ended up filled with noisy 2 fans.The next morning, we were woken at 8:20 AM by loud drilling above our heads. when we complained the staff’s solution was we can offer you Earplugs??When I said I couldn’t sleep, they simply said it’s legal to work from 8 AM — 6 PM no apology, no real help.elevator was poorly ventilated, lacking fresh air circulation to the point that additional fans had to be installed . I booked 6 nights, and this all happened in just the beginning.
