Dr. Beer — Restaurant in Shanghai

So it is rather pricey but it is all fantastic quality. I recommend getting the beer sampler just for an experience of tasting different styles. Remember drink wheat to dark. Went with some Chinese friends who thought that the tasting sampler was all about getting drunk. Loved the IPA the most... nice and hop-a-licious.

We tried most of the snack foods and the onion rings were the best. Nachos were a bit stale but I wasn't expecting much. A friend got the chicken salad and it was a good size with quite a lot of chicken.

The service was quick and friendly though they often just brought us the beers we ordered and didn't mention what it was which...

This is a decent beer bar for a casual drop in, now called World of Beer. It's enormous inside, with a lot of seating and an interesting selection of beer on tap and in bottle.

It's easy to get to by the 71 bus (about a block away from the stop) and it's in a busy neighboorhood,, lots of scooter parking and Fumin Road is still (August 2021)...

I came in here at 1am on Sunday night/Monday morning which isn't a good time to judge any bar, except to say "thank you" for being open. If I can, I would like to come back when they are busier.
