Hotel 5 Elementos Corferias by HBP — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

There are so many things I loved about this quaint hotel that the one negative isn't so bad and I would stay again.||||I loved the size of the place. Only 5 stories and probably 50 rooms. The staff were always very kind and helpful to our team which had several non Spanish speakers. The front desk, morning cooks and servers and the maids. All top notch!||||A very nice, big breakfast buffet is included. Meats, fruits, breads, cereal and you can have omelet or eggs fixed exactly how you like! Besides coffee they will make you cappuccino if you ask which yes I did thruout the day! Please remember to tip not just the server but the fellow who makes your eggs! They go out of their way to please!||||I was on the 5th floor and my room was huge! It was like a small apartment. you could live there. I loved it. I didn't use the kitchen tho as we ate out daily. But really enjoyed all my space.||||It is a safe, well lit area. My female friend and I walked to the little grocer a few places down the block at night or to the corner for really good pizza. In the am we went around the corner and got our mochas and a perhaps a pastry. Lots of little shops !||||It is also in walking distance (at least to us!) to the local huge mall! So we went one day and went to the movies, ate a nice lunch shopped a bit then walked back.||||The cons: I had to constantly go to the desk to get my key to work again. You have to use your key on the elevator to get up to your floor which not always but sometimes worked. then I get to my door and NO! They are flimsy and cheap so lose their coding. NO I did not keep it next to my phone lol||||It has a very open concept which is cool but the outdoor sounds and even the lobby sounds resound! I was on the 5th floor and could hear everything going on in the lobby. Es la segunda vez que me quedo. El dia viernes en la madrugada llegué para hacer el pago por medio del datáfono que no me recibía la tarjeta y me brindaron un Qr el cual me débito el dinero pero según no entro el pago ya que el datáfono se quedaba procesando y lo reiniciaban. Esperamos hasta el dia domingo anterior a nuestro check out, ese domingo nos dijeron que todavía no se había reflejado el pago a pesar de que la habíamos enviado un comprobante de que sí se había descontado de nuestra cuenta Por lo cual como persona responsables y proactivas dijimos que íbamos a realizar nuevamente el pago con otro medio pero con el compromiso de que se encargaran luego en el día siguiente hábil de revisar la información del pago anterior para que nos realizaran el reembolso lo cual nos ha generado a partir de esa fecha un descontento ya que no hemos recibido la atención adecuada, el proceso ha sido muy lento y solamente lo que nos dicen es que están a la espera de que se refleje el pago lo cual me parece que no fue ni refleja la misma responsabilidad que nosotros tuvimos a la hora de realizar un pago doble ya que no están revisando ni investigando ver Qué sucedió con su con su datáfono y el pago que como dicen en sua palabras "supuestamente" debería haber entrado simplemente están a la espera de que se le refleje el pago como dicen ellos el supuesto pago y no dan más respuestas le he enviado correos solicitando ciertas informaciones lo cual ni siquiera me han contestado de recibido y me ha tocado estar escribiendo a través de WhatsApp y me dicen siempre lo mismo me parece muy desleal e irresponsable con el cliente que es la segunda vez que voy porque ya me aparecía un buen lugar para quedarme y que ya luego que le realice el pago y de que ya no estoy alojado en ese momento y estoy en otra ciudad no sean atentos. Good design but in the middle of nowhere. The kitchen in the unit was very limited. Good fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker and stove but not one kitchen utensil nor cooking implement so it's all for show.

We had a front unit with no sound protection and open window shutter vents so no way to stop the cold Bogotá weather from being a part of our stay.

There are no restaurants nearby nor anything of interest within an easy walk.

If you need to be close to the US embassy, a decent place...
