Hotel Casa Normandia — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

LOUD. flights pass day and night. Street traffic, car, and motorcycles passing and honking constantly. Currently, 11pm, planes have passed one after another with a 15-minute break span. (Update- there was less noise from 1am to 5am).

The hostel (not hotel) has two sections. Can accommodate one person to a large group. Shared space.

Black Gate to enter the entire hostel, then the main section (green gate) has a second gate, Once you walk in the second area, it seems it was a garage at one point. To enter you use go yo a white sliding door, with no lock. In this section, there are rooms with #s. Each door has a lock. No ventilation within each room or bathroom as it is basically a cave. Seems clean, sheets could be improved. The bathroom has mold. Family members were coughing in the morning. Close to different cafes and restaurants.

We were offered free laundry service. 🤷🏻‍♀️ could be a plus. The cleaning lady was pleasant. We arrived at 3pm, rooms were not yet available. She requested we return in an hour or could leave luggage and wait. We waited as we were tired to walk...

Si estas aburrido y queres jugar al juego de "encuentre las 40 diferencias", podes alojarte en este hotel. Las fotos no son para nada representativas de la realidad. Mi habitación no tenía tapa de inodoro... nunca vi algo igual, pagando 135000 cop. En la habitación de abajo se escucha todo lo que habla el personal y sus celulares, tuve que elegirla por comodidad de mover valijas pero no lo recomiendo. La señora que atiende es muy amable. Lamentablemente el precio que pague fue altisimo por el servicio recibido. La ubicación es buena. Cerca...
