Horrible don’t stay here again! Woman who works the front desk/check-in is in a bad mood, she overcharged price from booking.com making us (the customer) absorb the fee booking.com charges her (un-ethical in my opinion), the toilet was broken in the room and instead of fixing it she instructed us to take off the lid and hold the floater up until it refilled. She came in my room twice per day while we were there in morning & evening to turn on the lighted neon sign outside and had to move my bed to get to the switch to plug it in. She watched soap operas on the coches in the reception area & takes random naps during the day & seems annoyed if you interrupt either activity. Taxi to the airport overcharged me by 5.000 pesos from the 25.000 price quoted as well. I have been on a three week trip in Colombia and everywhere I’ve stayed (a mix of different accommodations at this price range and lower) has been absolutely fantastic and staff always welcoming & friendly. The vibe here was just weird. I advise to look elsewhere or pay extra for a taxi from a hotel farther away from the airport, it’s not worth it. Read moreI really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Normandia Gold. The area was secure and in a central location. The staff was outstanding. I checked in around 9pm and the man at the front desk was extremely helpful, kind, and courteous with any questions or requests I made. I asked for him to bring waters and tequila with cut limes to my room and he did so with superb customer service and a great attitude. Read moreEl lugar es bueno para pocos dias, pero lo malo es que no entiendo como uno hotel donde llegan muchos turistas (en la ciudad de Bogota) no reciban tarjetas de credito, en un principio dijeron que si recibian pero que cobrarian el 19% adicional, cosa que me parecio exagerado y no legal, al final no tenia mas opcion para cancelar sino pagando ese 19% con mi tarjeta de credito y me dijeron que el datafono no funcionaba por que no tenia señal, luego que no era problema de señal sino que lo habian bloquedao por una problema de unas tarjetas falsas, al final me toco ir a buscar dinero para cancelar. es como ilogico que un hotel en Bogota no tenga el datafono en buen estado, es algo importantisimo. pienso que no me quisieron recibir el pago por todas las excusas que me dijeron. y no muy buen servicio en ese sentido al decir que el cliente que no tenga efectivo sino tarjeta simplemente se tenga que ir y ya en un negocio eso no se dice. la idea es atraer clientes, y en mi primer dia nunca me dijeron que el datafono no servia, solo que cobran el 19% adicional. que tal que no hubiese podido tener efectivo sino solo la tarjeta de credito (mi tarjeta no se puede...
