HOTEL BOGOTA DC — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

The worst hotel experience I've had in Colombia. As soon as I arrived I knew I made a mistake.

Upon arrival the front desk staff was rude and didn't seem to want to help people.

After a long time I was finally able to go to my room which was disgusting. There were pubic hairs (yes, thick curly ones) visible in plain sight in the Jacuzzi, the bedsheets (after removing them) and in the toilet (besides some other yellowy marks).

The pubic hairs in the bedsheets were the last drop and I immediately called the reception to cancel my reservation and get a refund.

They denied an immediate refund or a payment in cash but offered to make a bank transfer the next day. They took over 3 weeks to transfer part of the money I paid and after a month I'm still waiting for the rest of it.

I booked a 5 start hotel for a lower price than what I paid here.

Pros: it's located near the airport, so it's a short ride. Cons: this is not a professional establishment. Guest care and facilities maintenance doesn't seem to...

Hairs all over the beds and a really loud clunky noise throughout the hotel all night long, sounds like it could possibly be from some kind of generator.

We were given this hotel for the night by Avianca airline to include food and refreshments due to a 17 hour flight delay. But we were not once given water only a very small fruit juice with a meal and were given no food choices a plate of pasta was just put in front of us at a table. A bit weird and not a nice...

Pésima experiencia. Llegué por compensación de Delta Airlines por un vuelo cambiado y me dieron 5 vouchers: 1 para la estadía hasta la noche del día siguiente porque el vuelo sustituto era nocturno; y 4 de comidas, la cena de la primera noche y las 3 del día siguiente.

Al amanecer, el personal de recepción no dejó de hostigar con que debía hacer el checkout a la 1 Pm a pesar de que tenía todos los vouchers y se los había presentado. Llamaron toda la mañana para eso, haciendo la experiencia bastante incómoda e indeseable.

En la mañana, bien temprano, llamaron para informar que "el transporte de Delta ya llegaba a recogerme" aunque mi vuelo era nocturno y ya ellos lo sabían. Además, trataron de darme menos comidas de las incluidas en la compensación mintiendo sobre el contenido de los vouchers, a lo cual tuve que solicitarlos de vuelta y verificar delante de ellos.

Por último, toda la mañana les dije que llamaran a Delta para verificar lo del transporte y lo de los vouchers y me decían que no les contestaban. Pero cuando me despedí y les pedí el contacto, muy frescamente me dijeron "ah no, no lo tenemos, ellos son los que nos llaman".
