I have stayed at this hotel several times during the last six months, and I am quite pleased with it. The location is very good, in a beautiful and safe area of Bogota. It is also close to one of the main streets of the city, so you can find many different restaurants and places for coffee, cakes etc. in walking distance. Several of the important Universities are also nearby, and Candelaria and Zona T is only a cheap taxi ride away. On Sundays I would usually walk to Candelaria, as the 7th avenue is just a two minutes walk from the hotel. The 7th avenue is closed for traffic every Sunday to give room for pedestrians, people jogging, cycling etc. It is perfectly walkable also on weekdays, but all the noise and stress from the cars and busses makes it a less enjoyable walk. If you choose not to walk, it costs about 5 USD by taxi, or 70 cent by bus to Candelaria from this hotel. Other things to mention about the hotel, is that the rooms are large, the beds comfortable, it has hot showers, and the breakfast is also quite nice. I also must add that I feel very secure staying there, as it is a safe area of Bogota, and the employees at the hotel take well care of you. Last but not least, the hotel offers very good value for money. I have stayed in numerous of hotels in Bogota, including the JW Marriott, Casa Deco and the new Ibis hotel. So far, this one offers a better quality for money than any other hotel I have stayed at in the...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel, and while the accommodations were fine, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We had our laundry done, and the cost was incredibly high for a small bag of clothes. While folding our laundry, we discovered a bleach stain that had ruined one of our shirts. We understand that mistakes happen, but we at least expected to be reimbursed the €20 we paid for the service.
When we approached the woman at the reception to request a refund, she told us it wasn’t their responsibility and refused to reimburse us. To make matters worse, she blamed the issue on another staff member and suggested we should hold that individual personally accountable, which was a highly unprofessional way to handle the situation. This not only made us feel uncomfortable but also left a poor impression of the hotel's approach to customer care.
In conclusion, the way the woman at reception handled this—placing blame on an employee and suggesting they personally pay for the damage—shows not only poor customer service but also a troubling way of treating their own staff. It was a frustrating experience that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard.

Read morePerfect! This place is lovely. We stayed in a family room (204) with my 4 kids and the kids loved the bunks! Each bunk has a privacy shade and it's own light + plugs (including USB outlets). Our room had 6 bunks and a full bed that was in it's own walled off area. We really enjoyed the private patio and the HOT water! It gets a little chilly at night, but they brought in extra blankets without us asking. Loved the hostel style storage lockers so everyone had their own space to put their things. The made to order breakfast was also quite good.
For us, the location is unbeatable. It's in a hip part of Chaperino with so much within walking distance! Amazing restaurants and multiple parks for the kids to play (or to do body weight exercises) within a couple minutes walk. We stayed 5 days and could have kept exploring the neighborhood a lot longer. Groceries, and everything you could possibly need is close by! You need to take a taxi to get to most of the major tourist destinations, but I think that's a plus. This is safer, quieter, and...
