Disappointing food and experience at Mistral.

Our order was taking an extremely long time. The staff were totally unapologetic and not once came to explain. We had to go inside and ask several times what was going on for a simple order of a couple slices of quiche and a soup. When multiple orders for other tables (who had arrived long after us) started arriving, we almost left.

On the final time asking when we could expect our order, we overhead them saying that the soup was still being defrosted (which was surprising and disturbing not least for a place where the food is supposedly made fresh, but also since again no one bothered to just tell us that it could take a while and offer an alternative).

When the food finally arrived, it was clear that the soup was indeed from a frozen batch, really awful, and so over-seasoned with pepper, it was close to inedible. The quiche was decent, but unbelievably tiny portions.

It's understandable that sometimes a place has a bad day and that restaurants have it tough (and for that reason, I rarely write negative reviews), but honestly, just a little empathy and explanation from the staff would've gone a long way. We felt both ripped off and...

This place is highly overrated. Their online branding might look impressive, but once you're there, you regret ever stepping in. The venue is dirty, dark, and smells terrible. The outdoor area, in particular, is poorly maintained and feels neglected.

The service is consistently subpar, and the food is overpriced for its quality. However, what completely ruined the experience for me was the lack of hygiene.

The place is pet-friendly, which is fine in theory. Many patrons bring their dogs, and the waitstaff seem to love interacting with them—petting, touching, and even hugging the animals. While I understand that dog owners might do this, it’s a different matter when the staff does it without washing their hands before handling food.

What pushed me over the edge was witnessing a waiter petting a dog and then immediately serving food without taking a moment to wash their hands. That was the last straw. I decided to leave right away and will...

Employees in this place may be under awful conditions. More than 20 minutes waiting for someone to take an orden while you are noticing noicy fases from this place's staff is the last thing you want to find at the moment to go to work. They don't care about sitting big families with noicy little kids joint to the ones who are trying to be focused in our studies and work. Not recomended AT ALL. Please do a favor to yourself and go to varietale just crossing the street, they are the only ones where you are not going to regret.

Food is pretty average. Ordered a limonade that I can do better at home, being a disaster in kitchen. Oh, but there’s something they do really well, ignoring people...

The food is both delicious and authentic, although the menu selection could use some enhancement. The service tends to be a bit reserved, which may be part of the genuine French experience. It would be beneficial if the menus were available in both bilingual or even trilingual formats. Translating the menus would not be a significant expense, but it would greatly enhance the establishment's image. Given the price point, offering multiple languages is almost essential, especially with the number of foreign patrons visiting.

I came here years ago and went back again recently when I was in Bogota. They had just done a fresh rebrand and it was impressive how comprehensive it was (as a brand designer myself). The food is great and very authentically French, the service is pretty good and consistent, and the ambiance of the space is cosy. I love that they have a pantry section of high quality goods for the home, including coffee, eggs, granola, and much more. This is definitely a great breakfast or brunch spot.

One of the best hot chocolates I’ve had in a very time! And the gluten free chocolate brownie was 10/10. The vibe was cozy and our waiter Rawil was super friendly and attentive.🤩 The only downside was seeing so many people with their laptops on a Sunday! 😅 Please ban laptops on the weekends. If you’re reading this and thinking of coworking on the weekend just don’t. Weekends are their busiest time and your coming with your laptop for 4 hours is not good for business.
