HAB Café — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

The restaurant lacks the level of customer service expected from similar venues. The reservation was made for 3 adults and a baby. When we arrived for our 10am reservation, I requested a high chair for the baby and was informed that they only had one and it was occupied. I asked to use the seat once it became available. After a few moments seated, I noticed an available high-chair and requested to use it. A different member informed me that this seat was reserved for a special event. Later in my meal, a family entered and requested the same chair from a third waiter and was provided it. I then brought it to the attention of the hostess- Andrés, that I was denied the chair but it was then given to another family. He assured me that it hadn't but said he would investigate. He quickly went to see, saw what i had told him and scolded the staff. At this point I expected he would come over to apologize for the error, but no, he didn't, everyone continued on as if they didn't treat one family more favorable than another. We finished by 1110 and the special event began at 1100, we could have easily been informed that the seat was needed for 1100 and would have obliged.

The place needs additional high chairs and customer...

Fue muy lamentable. Desde el principio la atención era mala, incluso pidiendo información por los canales de comunicación, nunca te dan información clara o completa. Es una lástima porque es un lugar muy lindo.

Pagamos la cena de año nuevo y desde el principio nos sentimos tercerizados (nos ubicaron en una mesa en medio del paso y ni así nos prestaban atención). Se demoraron unos 30 min en notar que estábamos presentes, incluso cuando la host nos ubicó, teníamos que preguntar muchas veces para que nos dieran respuesta. Yo pedí lomo y nunca me preguntaron el término, sólo me trajeron una carne demasiado cruda para mi gusto y no me la pude comer. A la hora de la barra libre, que era lo que más nos interesaba (porque el menú era bastante reducido), se demoraron unos 40 min (2 meseros) en traernos razones, porque JAMÁS se dijo cuáles eran las condiciones, ni qué tragos incluía ni absolutamente nada. Cuando me levanté molesta a hablar con la host, mandó a una chica que justificó su falta de atención y empezó a decirnos que habían cambiando la hora de la barra libre (y no nos informaron) y por eso nadie nos había prestado atención, ni siquiera para saber si queríamos algo mientras. Al final la barra libre eran 2 cócteles de aguardiente, muy lamentable si no te gusta el aguardiente y ya estás ahí y ya pagaste. Mi novio y yo esperábamos pasar un año nuevo diferente y este mal servicio sólo arruinó la noche. Lo más gracioso es que al final nos preguntan si queremos pagar la propina. Fueron 479mil pesos a la basura. No voy a volver ni recomendaré este...

We went for dinner not knowing what to expect...We were overwhelmed by the well curated farm fresh menu and how incredible each and every dish was. The food was creative, delicate and delicious. They used interesting flavor profiles which we happily enjoyed. Additionally, the special cocktails were not some sugary nightmare either, they were perfectly balanced and tasty! We definately recommend...
