Recently stayed in Hostel Rana for our stay in Villa de Leyva. Originally reserved a room for three, but upon arrival, there was a total of 4 of us. This was no problem, and a room for 4 was made available to us. We did reserve a room with a private bathroom, but I suppose the change in the number of people had changed that, and it was a private bathroom outside of the room - no big deal, this is doable. || What blown us away was the hospitality from the owner, she was very accommodating to us, and helped us in every way. She even made an excellent suggestion for a horseback riding tour through the countryside, passing through Pozos Azules, and option to enter Casa Terracota (both with additonal fee).|| She even helped us out immensely, with the parking situation, as not much public parking is available.|| Breakfast was available (with additional fee, something around USD$7.00) which was delicious, with fresh fruit, hot chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, and toast. Perfect way to start the day!|| The beds were comfortable and clean.|| Location was perfect, close enough to the plaza, being only a few minutes walk, but far enough for the evenings to be quiet for a good night's rest.|| My one caveat, amongst the many positives, is the water situation for showers. I guess they are conserving water, so the hot water depletes sometime after 8am, after that, showers will be with cold water. Again, not so bad, just shower before 8am!|| Would definitely stay here again, and...

You are the first to complain about this. ||2. Maybe you have too many kilos? And then she started laughing. End of conversation.||||My girlfriend with her 57kg mentioned it first when we were in bed, so it can't be my weight. ||||But besides this, this isn't the reaction you count on. It is just really rude to give a reaction like this as a hostel owner.||||I was actually a bit flabbergasted, later I was disappointed in the way Maria reacted to me. An apology or a little empathy would have worked in her advance.||||if you don't like a sweaty night on a plastic bed or you don't like the idea to pay for a bed but get a pit? ||||AVOID GOING TO...
