We went as a couple for a weekend getaway, and we really wanted to like the hotel as it is beautifully decorated, it’s got a a calming vibe and the room we stayed in was very clean. However, there were more annoyances in our stay than the things we liked.
First of all, walls are paper thin! Since the moment we entered the room, we could hear steps, conversations, and bathroom noises. Furthermore, there is a restaurant bar next door and on weekends they play live music until midnight. Also, rooms are not isolated from the restaurant area, so expect to be woken up very early in the morning by both guests and staff walking by and chatting.
And lastly, there was no TV or fan in the room. You think opening the window would help cooling the room down, but then you would sacrifice louder noises and less privacy for a cooler room.

Read moreWow, what a beautiful hotel. We’ve been on bike tour for about a year and some friends got me a nice hotel stay for my birthday, so we booked into this gorgeous spot for three nights. Beds and sheets are heavenly, decor is calming, breakfast is delicious, the common areas are relaxing and the staff are a pleasure (Edith, particularly, is such a professional). I even got a little birthday treat, which was completely unexpected.
We were able to keep our bikes in the garden which was fabulous.
Things are a little loud at the weekend, but ear plugs are provided and we travel with a speaker so we can listen to white noise, so this didn’t bother us, and I’m completely sure you’d have the same issue at every hotel in the centre of Villa.
Thank you for a brilliant stay in a...
Read moreThis is a very sweet boutique hotel. First and foremost the staff is just lucky and so helpful. The rooms , if you get just the standard one, like I did, are small but I saw the ones with the bathtubs as pictured and they are nice and roomy. Make sure to denote that you want this type of room when you make your reservation. Breakfast is wonderful and changes daily. You can eat in a small beautiful little garden in the back. It’s located two blocks from the main square and about 4 blocks to the main street where all the shops are. Price was very reasonable as well. Recommend. (There’s a cute restaurant across the street called Happy Monkey but I wouldn’t go if a...
