Lulo´s Hostel — Hotel in Cabecera Municipal

The only good thing about this hostel is the location ( like all the other hostels in Jardin) I stayed in both private room and dorm, none of them worths the value: private room is very dark, with one window towards the inside corridor where all the other guests pass by beds in the dorm are horrible, not only it moves like as if there was an earthquake, they also put a plastic sheet in all the bed as protection - very noisy when one moves in his/her bed poor self service breakfast, there’s only cereal, bread and banana poorly equipped kitchen, not enough utensils ( there not even enough fork& spoon) if you are lucky to stay on the ground floor, be really for the noise. As the design of the hostel is completely closed on the ground floor, when people talk in the kitchen or the common area, it’s extremely loud, gave me headaches. And also as they don’t have kitchen open time, some would get up very early to cook their breakfast - impossible to sleep. when I told the owner that with the problem of the bed and the noisy kitchen I can’t sleep at all in their hostel, one answered that “ this is normal for a hostel and you should be prepared”, and refused to refund me even though I made a walk...

We stayed three nights in this lovely hostel in Jardin, and wished we could have stayed longer. This was honestly one of our favorite hostels in Colombia. The house is beautiful and very clean, with a great location close to the main plaza. The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked and the roof terrace is a very tranquil place to enjoy your breakfast or an afternoon glass of wine. The staff members were extremely helpful and the energy of the place was very positive overall.||A few very small cons: The beds are not the most comfortable, the rooms can be a tad noisy, and there are only a few bathrooms. ||I would definitely recommend this place highly and would stay here again in...
