Bon Appetit — Restaurant in Cabecera Municipal

Just okay food at best. Served its purpose to fill my hunger. Likely not to go back.

Quickly. Ordered plates: Primavera pasta, Tikka Masala and Vegetable Spring Rolls

Tikka Masala: not even close to Tikka Masala taste, but good chicken and veggies. Lacks lots of spice all around. Rice was also so so. Added lots of sriracha and things to help. Good portion, though!

Pasta Primavera: missing more of what makes the sauce Primavera such as Parmesan, mushroom, garlic, pepper, etc. It was just pasta with cream sauce, no flavor in the sauce.

Veggie Spring Roll: not a Spring Roll, although looks like one. Spring rolls are cold, not hot. Ours was warm from the veggies being cooked. Was more of a dumpling than a spring roll, but was presented nicely.

Cocolimonada very tasty.

It was a welcome change in cuisine so that was nice. Curious to try the Pad Thai because I’m craving good noodles, but likely not going to given how the Primavera came out. Stick to the Menu Del Dia for a good...

While we were eating in the restaurant, a family with a little kid entered asking for some money. They weren't pushy or aggressive, and one could see the tiredness and hunger on their face.

They went outside quickly, as the restaurant was full of tourist and it wasn't really easy to understand what they were saying.

But few seconds after, one of the staff members of Bon Appetit came up with a bag of food for the family and this melted my heart ❤️

It was so beautiful to see all the gratitude on the face of the father. It was so nice to see that the guys at the restaurant didn't do this for someone to applaud them, but it came from a place of generosity and compassion.

On top, the food was really delicious. Amazing quality and service.

I apologize for not having any pictures but both times I was there I was hungry and when the food came out it was so delicious that we immediately started eating. Unfortunately I feel like I found Bon Appetite a little late in my life in Jardin. The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal. We were there on a busy night but were luckily enough to be seated right away. But as someone who has worked in the restaurant, I believe it was the chef who was out bussing tables at times and the way they handled people waiting was amazing. They had drinks and orders taken so even though there was a wait it seemed as soon as people were seated there food was served within minutes. Just another one of...
