Hotel Jardin — Hotel in Cabecera Municipal

The building is pleasant and clean but the noise from the street till 1230 in the morning is unbearable. The hotel sits above two bars which amplify Colombian music ridiculously loud with very strong base. Even with earplugs it’s impossible to sleep. ||Furthermore, the staff seem to be completely ignorant of people sleeping in the morning. They start shouting to each other from 6 am so it is impossible to sleep in the morning. Even when they are told to be quiet they then forget. ||This is the worst nights sleep I have had in a hotel in years!!! Thanks. To the staff....Please learn that hotels are for sleeping and have some consideration. ||Do NOT STAY HERE IF...

You can't get much more basic, but the plus (and some say minus) is that it's in the town center. Room was clean and had a tiny balcony. Also, it had an outer room with a bench. The only furniture was a bed. I generally like the polar opposite of this, something luxurious. But there are no options if you want to stay in or near the town center. So, no complaints, especially for $15. ||No cold water in the sink, but semi-warm water in the shower. Staff was friendly. It is a nice location, lobby and balcony are nice, staff are friendly. The room and in particular, the bathroom needs work.||||The shower does not drain, the sink leaks, the electric hot water heater barely makes the water cool, you can see the ground terminal on the shower head has never been connected so there is a risk of electrocution.||||One wonders how the staff could clean the sink and shower and not notice the problems?||||Towels are thin and not very absorbent||||Beds are hard, covered in plastic mattess cover||||Would not...
