Conveniently located a few yards from Las Bóvedas, this building is mostly occupied by locals.
It has security at the entrance. Kitchen, air conditioner, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, 2TVs, one in the living room, (it wasn’t working at the time I was there) and one in the bedroom. Probably by the time that you are reading this, the water heater will have been fixed. It took me a while to get used to cold showers... isn’t it good for your health?
The apartment has a main door and an iron door that you close with a small lock(since the main door doesn’t lock from outside).
There is a small safe if you want to keep valuables. G The building is secured and there is a person that checks with you to make sure everything is ok.
There is a small convenience store next to the entrance where you can buy snacks, water, sodas and some food.
The main supermarket is a block away.
The apartment is on the third floor and no elevators, so bring help with your...
Read moreI had really hard time rating this place. The location is inside the walls of the old city which is great but the street itself in on of the least nice streets of a wonderful Cartagena. The place is cute and hospitability is great. Breakfast was also amazing! However, it’s really small and has steap stairs leading to the rooms. The top floor hat a tub but it didn’t look clean! The whole place seems to have been done half heartedly. Paint from painting the stairs is dripped all over the tails and so on. Not a big deal for most people! I must say that is didn’t keep up the expectations from the pictures. The shower only has cold water. That being said I have a fear of heights and allergy problems with cold water we called Mrs. Nelly which was in charge of Casa Jardín and she completely understood our situation and helped us change for the second night. She was very helpful and understanding which made it possible for us to enjoy Cartagena. Thank...
Read moreGreat location. Rooms are small but most rooms in the old city are small. Breakfast is included and made within minutes of walking downstairs. This place has AC which is amazing! Prices are very reasonable. Has a tiny pool/jacuzzi on the roof. Location is a block from a huge grocery store which has reasonable prices and a place to exchange money at a decent rate. Quiet although it is in the city walls. It is highly recommended that you stay in the city walls while visiting Cartagena as everything will...
