I booked this place after looking at reviews and I stayed here for 6 nights. First day, I was informed that there is no smoking policy. I almost went up in joy as I am non smoker. I spent entire six nights in bed smelling cigarettes through bathroom vent and A/C. A/C doesn't drop below 17 degree Celsius. It gets quite hot in medellin so that was a bummer but I tolerated it. I find bathroom sink cabinet totally dismantled and toilet seat loose to a point where it wasn't managble to use it. I can't imagine checking someone in without making sure the room is atleast serviceable. However, I was offered room change but I politely declined and asked it to be fixed. The real kicker came in with guest policy as there is only 1 guest per day when I have reservations for 2 people. I forgot my hotel key inside the room and I was asked to be charged by a female employee. Further more, female employee told Diego ( Male employee ) that she gave a new key to me when it wasn't true. Luckily, I saw 2 people checking out right next to me who only had 1 key and spoke fluent Spanish and English. I asked the female to translate and I didn't let them scam me out of $20,000 COP. I also informed Diego ( male employee ) to check cameras to verify story to which he later on replied that i was correct with hesitation intended. The bed was quite comfortable but you had to ask everyday for it to be serviced. The only positive experience was breakfast.
To sum it up - if you're a tourist w/o Spanish speaking skills, People will try to con you. I was extremely let down with this experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. You have...
Read moreI stayed for three nights with friends as part of a G Advebtures trip and we were very pleased with the place.|The room was very spacious, clean, with comfortable beds and a safety deposit box. The aircon was excellent. All in all it was a very pleasant experience in that respect.|Another positive was the breakfast was decent with fresh fruits and eggs.|The hotel is really well located a shirt walk from loads of bars and restaurants. Be warned, the Poblado District is a real hotspot for nightlife so it won't be quiet! To be fairvthiugh, the hotelnitsrlf is very quiet. Poblado is throbbing, especially after dark. It's a red light district too but don't let that put you off, it's not dangerous or edgy, at least we did not find it so.| About ten minutes down the hill brings you to the metro and its onlyvactwn minute ride to the downtown with one change of line.|Conveniently there is laundry about 2 doors from the hotel too.|The staff were very polite abd helpful. My only criticism is that bizarrely on obe night of our three there were no towels in the room and not a single one to be had in the...

Besides the horrible Conditions (no WiFi in the rooms, low level breakfast, senseless high prices) I was stolen money from these guys. I arrived in the afternoon after booking via Expedia. The receptionist told me I had to pay, even though my platform usually pay for me. Out of trust, I paid, but the day after I found out Expedia had already paid for me. The receptionist assured me I would have been given back the money, as soon as "the boss came back". I asked for a bank transfer, since I was in a hurry, leaving early morning to catch a plan for Italy. The receptionist assured me they would have sent back the money immediately.
30 days passed by. I write every day but it looks like nobody answer the phone. If I call, no answer. From time to time I receive messages "the bank is dealing with that", "our boss has the information, she's out now". I think this is the most dishonest AMD bad way to manage a place. Besides losing clients, you look very unprofessional and unable to do your job. For 150 $....
