I had a fantastic experience staying at Hashtag 98 in Medellín! Located in the vibrant and lively El Poblado neighborhood, the hotel is in a perfect spot—just 2-3 blocks from Provenza, where you’ll find endless options for food, bars, and entertainment. It made going out incredibly easy and affordable since we didn’t need taxis to get around the area.

Before my trip, the hotel reached out to help arrange airport transportation, which was well-priced and totally worth it. I paid in pesos, but there’s also an option to pay with a card at the hotel, which was super convenient.

Check-in was smooth, and my room on the 8th floor was clean, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed. I especially loved the floor-to-ceiling window that gave me a stunning view of the city—definitely a highlight!

One of the standout features of the hotel is its rooftop bar, Insolente, which happens to be the largest rooftop bar in Medellín. It was the perfect spot to grab a drink and take in the views before heading out for the night. When you check in, you even receive a card for a free welcome drink, which you can use at the rooftop—such a nice touch!

One night, we also booked private transportation through the hotel to explore areas outside of El Poblado, and it was such a fun and smooth experience. The staff made everything easy and were genuinely friendly, helpful, and committed to making sure guests have the best stay possible.

A quick note for light sleepers—the hotel is close to nightlife and busy streets, so there is some city noise in the area. As a heavy sleeper, I had no issues at all, but it might be something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sound.
