Ecoventure — Local services in Medellín

Julian was an amazing guide! Even before I booked he was very prompt in his responses to my WhatsApp messages and his English is great for those of you who may not speak Spanish.

He picked us up from our hotel in Poblado at 9am and drove us to the launch point for paragliding in Cocorna. There were two of us on the trip, myself and my brother and my brother opted NOT to paraglide (chicken!). I felt safe with my pilot and Julian made sure to answer any/all of my questions on the way there. While my brother waited for me, Julian treated him to a local snack from a woman with a stand in the parking area.

From there, we went to another town for ATV'ing. He rode along with the guide and again made sure that we were comfortable and answered any questions we had.

We ended the day with lunch at a restaurant that had the most amazing views. The restaurant didn't seem to expect us so the food did a take a while. Julian knew we were hungry so he grabbed some chocolate to keep our hunger at bay during the wait.

All in all, Julian is VERY passionate about his business, is a safe driver and is definitely a pleasure to be around. The day we spent with him will definitely be a lasting memory for me and my little brother....

Esteban was awesome! Me and my girlfriend had a great time doing the ziplines, the hiking, the hammocks and the waterfall, especially the waterfall. We also picked up some of the coffee that they grow there and it's been so delicious. This was such a great investment for us. Esteban picked us up at our hotel and brought us all the way out to the Ecopark. From there we enjoyed the beautiful weather and the views. This is one of the most beautiful parts of Colombia that we've seen. Everyone at the Ecopark was incredibly professional and you could tell that these guys know what they're doing. The food at the restaurant was just what we needed after all that hiking. I went back to the hotel and slept better than I had the entire trip. You have to go on this tour. The waterfall alone is worth the trip. Get ready to get a little or a lot wet depending on how long you want to stand in front of the waterfall. Esteban was so patient with us as well. He hikes those trails every day and he definitely had to wait on us to catch our breath a few times, but he was always super cool about it and very encouraging.
