La Puesta del Sol — Hotel in Quindío

I've traveled around the world for more than ten years now, and I'm not even joking, this was my favorite place I have ever slept. I will never forget the beautiful second-floor room with the huge windows that give a perfect view of the valley. A view you usually have to pay for in miradors around the city, but here it just comes with the room.

The two hosts, Hugo and Marieta, were incredibly helpful in setting us up and were always present throughout our stay with coffee, nice stories, and suggestions for places to discover next. The beds and temperature were perfect for a good night's rest, and I always felt energetic in the mornings.

If it wasn't perfect already, two cats like to hang around the hotel and wait for us to pet them. I will certainly come back one day. I’ll never...

This place is amazing! Loved the view from the hotel. They have many options for outdoor space to enjoy the view. The pictures available does not do justice. It’s more incredible in person.

I loved Filandia. It is my favorite place that I visited in Colombia. It’s a small town that takes maybe 30 minutes to walk all around town. Which makes this hotel ideal location. For such a small town the culinary delights nearby is excellent.

Absolutely awesome place! We stayed the night here while visiting family in Colombia and could not have been happier. The rooms were great, comfy and clean, and the location was perfect. The delightful Colombian-Canadian family that runs it could not be more hospitable and are happy to chat with you in English, Spanish or French!
