This is a really nice apartment, with good kitchen facilities, a dining and seating area, and a balcony. There were also clearly marked boxes for each apartments foodstuff. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Our apartment (no2) was a little claustrophobic as it only had a window in the bathroom and one at the top of the wall, all of the others seemed to have 2 windows, so I think we were unlucky. It was also quite noisy with a lot of dogs barking nearby and a really noisy piece of equipment on the roof above us which cycled on and off all through the night, so if you're a light sleeper take earplugs. Really nice room. It's less than a year old hotel. Very clean and full kitchen facilities. I prepared breakfast and dinner there. Free coffee than you can make. Provide oil, salt and pepper.
The AC and hot water is very nice.
Reception provides good tour info and helps you to book the tour and shuttle to other cities, such as JeepBoatJeep to Monteverde (only $30, cheaper and faster than take internus shuttle).
3mins walk to supermarket. 8 mins walk to restaurant.
It shares the reception of Hotel Alecia.

Reservamos el hotel (sister hotel del hotel Alicia aunque las habitaciones tenían mucho mejor aspecto que las del Hotel Alicia ( y también eran más caras)
Llegada la noche se escuchaba constantemente un ruido fuerte similar al de un motor que no cesaba y no nos dejaba dormir.
Escribimos un Whastapp a recepción y nos comentan que son los motores de los aires acondicionados (nuestro y de otras habitaciones) y que no va a dejar de sonar porque están en proceso de arreglarlo…
Le pedimos cambio de habitación y nos ofrecieron ir al Hotel Alicia ya que en Macaw no tenían más habitaciones libres y además , como cortesía, nos incluían el desayuno al día siguiente.
Aceptamos el cambio porque era eso o no dormir.
Las instalaciones del hotel Alicia eran muchísimo peores que donde estábamos. Muy viejas.De los 90 sin arreglar.
Por la mañana al despertarnos nos encontramos con una cucaracha en la pared que parecía un elefante. La verdad que estuvimos a disgusto y al día siguiente decidimos marcharnos a pesar de tener la noche pagada.
La recepcionista ni se inmutó, cosa que nos sorprendió, se va tu cliente y pasas, pues OK. Aquí mi valoración.
