After a long day of travelling, some comfort food like pizza is just what we needed and Pizza Ranch in La Fortuna delivered! The restaurant has nice vibes with lighting across the ceiling, which a vibrant atmosphere and typically lots of people. We opted to stick with the pizza options as there are plenty of other options to choose from such as ribs, wings, spaghetti, calzones, and other. If you scan their barcode on their menu and use their app, you save 10% on your order which is nice because food in Costa Rica is generally expensive - anything helps.
We ordered the personal cheese pizza and small meat ranch pizza and both were loaded with toppings and cheese and came out piping hot. Service was also great and we had no issues.
A few tips: This was the first restaurant we ate at when arriving in Costa Rica and only here is when I realized you pay at the front once you're done your food. Parking is easy - just park anywhere on the side of the road. Highly recommend this place and will come here again when...
Read morePizza Ranch was very crowded when we ate here at about 9pm on Saturday night. Not bad crowded, but popular crowded with lots of local families. But we didn't have to wait for a booth. Some of our party got a chicken ranch pizza. It looked and smelled delicious and the kids and adults who ate it loved it. I got a mega personal pepperoni pizza and it was delicious - covered with nicely seasoned pepperoni. It was cheese-heavy with good cheese and a stuffed crust, and came with a generous portion of extra pizza sauce for dipping. There are lots of pizza places in La Fortuna. This is the first and only one we tried so far but I highly recommend it. Prices are...
Read moreWe were craving pizza after a long and tiring day. They were running busy and we were expecting to wait 30-40 mins for the pizza to be made. Below is the timeline of events: 8:00 PM- we ordered 1 Medium Pizza + small coke. 8:20 PM- we got 2 disposable glasses and a coke. 9:10 PM- we ask the waitress where is the pizza and it’s been more than hour. She said they will make it now. We knew that they forgot to make the pizza.
We then cancelled the order and paid the rest and left. They were not even apologetic for their mistake. Truly disappointed as we were looking forward to the pizza.
Final say: go to another pizza place. At least they will...
