we stayed at the 'Hotel Flores " from October 03 to October 06, 2018... we arrived via the ferry coming from Venice, took a TAXI from the dock to the Hotel. Had a smooth check - in, the staff does speak good English, not a problem at all.||||We were accommodated in Room 102, a very large room ( see pictures ) it was newly renovated and it was clean. The room also has a balcony. looking into the garden . The room has Twin - Beds , clean bedlinen, lots of lights, Mini Bar, good closet space, an in-room safe, a flat TV screen made by Grundig,.||The Bathroom , also modern, ( see photo ) has a good shower, hot water, W/C , hairdryer, amenities,, clean white towels.||The Breakfast is enormous, a very good selection of everything, hot & cold dishes, you will NOT leave hungry here and the waitresses I had contact with are very pleasant. ||The staff in this hotel are very accommodating and it is " Service with a Smile " approach. There is also a Buffet for Dinner at 20.00 Euro per person..||If you come by rental car ( we picked up our car right here ) there is parking free of charge, when you walk outside the Hotel there is a Park, you can walk right up to the edge of the Adriatic Sea, just a 50m walk, see amazing sunsets as well..||The Hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi , a Wellness Center.||The Wi-Fi connection is not so good, was unable to post my pictures on Facebook.||We had a very pleasant stay here and we recommand staying at the " Hotel Flores " a great location with wonderful staff. Read moreThe only thing that keeps this hotel still open is Location! This is a classical touristic Croatian scam! Where to begin? First of all This is NOT I repeat It is NOT a 4 star!!Hardly even a 3 star! The whole hotel is dirty, smelly esp carpets which are at least 20 yrs old! They upgraded a rooms a lil bit with some furniture but when you look under the surface, it’s sickening to the stomach. Breakfast is okay.Hardly. The staff? Well I guess professionalism and some training is a unknown word here!!! Recepction looks like you came to Bulgaria in mid 60’ s. The tall recepcionist with curly dyed red hair always walks with heels cluck cluck like she owns hotel, she is too loud, unprofessional and does not know anything only to yell and bickring about guest making hand gestures like she is slowing traffic. Please go do something else clearly this is not for you! The only normal people at recepction are two girls both wearing glasses ;the skinny redhair with glasses and brunett with glasses also skinny. They are kind and very professional, especially the red one, her communication skills are very good! The girl in the restaurant is also very sweet. The other personal is hm odd. They charge parking 10 euro per day 💁🏼💁🏼 it’s too much for this property! Overall clearly this is not even a 3 stars! Prices for rooms are to much you can find for the same price...
Read moreWe stayed with a large group for 3 nights at Hotel Flores.|We were in room 6, which was a large room with 2 beds together to make one large bed.||There was a TV, A/C, small fridge with a minibar, 2 large comfy chairs which might have had a pull out bed in them, 1 chair and desk, a safe that used a key (and you had to go to reception to get the key) , phone and two night stands. There were lots of drawers. The floor was a wood floor.||The beds had fluffy blankets (comforters) which I don't like.||There was a patio, with 2 doors to it.||The bathroom had a shower only, and no bar soap, only liquid soap.||The hotel had a big pool and jacuzzi on the first floor. The water was only luke warm, and you had to get reception to turn on the jets.||Breakfast was included, and it had quite a selection. You could eat indoors or outdoors. There was a bar in the restaurant area, and that's where you went to get ice.||The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a map of Istria in the lobby, and that was helpful.||It was a short walk to the "beach" and there were lots of trees for shade along the whole seafront. This was besides all the trees around the hotel.||The walk into the old city was about a 10 or 15 minute walk. There was a casino nearby on that walk.||We would stay...
