Mirari Boutique Hotel Split — Hotel in Grad Split

During this holiday, I stayed in four different cities and four different hotels. This hotel was by far at the bottom of my list. The air conditioning was absolutely horrible; we had night sweats. This boutique hotel controls the air conditioning and only allows their guests to set it to a maximum of 21°C, which is not cool enough.

Additionally, we had an incident at the pool where the wind was causing the umbrellas to fly everywhere, and we got hit by one on our shoulders. These umbrellas were not grounded at all; there were no weights on them.

Also, a day before our flight, we went to open the safe that night, but it wouldn't open. Our passports, money, and laptop were locked inside. They didn’t have a key at the front desk, so we had to wait for the technician to come in the morning, which was horrible. You can only imagine the anxiety we felt. They do not have any spare keys at the reception, so I would not recommend putting anything in the safe, especially since the technician mentioned that this was not the first time guests had experienced this issue.

Furthermore, when it’s hot, the elevator electronics are on the roof, which means they had to shut down the elevator because it overheated. For those who can't walk up the stairs or have strollers, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Overall, I would recommend choosing another hotel instead of this boutique. I am so disappointed because I love supporting boutique hotels, and I am always traveling and using different accommodations. However, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had, and the customer service was not great. The staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. Hello again, No, we are still not satisfied, since you have not yet paid us the compensation you promised us. This was 6 months ago now! Really annoying that you cannot even deliver upon that promise you made.

Right in front of the hotel is a big construction site. Every morning at 7am we were woken up by a terrible noise as the construction started and they were piling and hammering. This went on all day until 5 pm. It is not possible to be on the balcony or roof top during the whole day. Even with the doors closed, there is a loud noise from the construction site. We were promised a 10% discount because of this which we felt was downright rude. We have not even received this compensation. BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL! Best Regards, Jorgen & Cathrin

In Swedish: VARNING! Boka ej Mirari hotel under 2024! (18-22 maj 2024) Vi kom precis tillbaka efter 4 nätter på detta hotell. Vi reser ofta och detta är vår absolut värsta hotellupplevelse. Mitt framför hotellet är en stor byggarbetsplats. Varje morgon kl 07.00 väcktes vi av ett fruktansvärt oljud då bygget satte igång och de pålande och hamrade. Det pågick hela dagen fram till kl 17.00. Det går inte att befinna sig på balkongen eller roof top under hela dagen. Även med stängda dörrar är det ett kraftigt ljud från byggarbetsplatsen. Direkt vor dem Hotel ist eine große Baustelle. Jeden Morgen um 7 Uhr wurden wir von einem schrecklichen Lärm geweckt, als die Bauarbeiten begannen und sie stapelten und hämmerten. Das ging den ganzen Tag bis 17.00 Uhr so weiter. Es ist nicht möglich, sich den ganzen Tag auf dem Balkon oder auf der Dachterrasse aufzuhalten. Selbst bei geschlossenen Türen ist der Lärm von der Baustelle zu hören. Buchen Sie ein anderes Hotel. Uns wurde deswegen ein Rabatt von 10% versprochen, was wir als unverschämt empfanden. Juste en face de l'hôtel se trouve un grand chantier de construction. Tous les matins à 7 heures, nous avons été réveillés par un bruit épouvantable car les travaux commençaient et ils empilaient et martelaient. Cela a duré toute la journée jusqu'à 17h00. Il n'est pas possible d'être sur le balcon ou sur le toit pendant toute la journée. Même avec les portes fermées, il y a un bruit fort provenant du chantier. Réservez un autre hôtel.
