So, I normally do not even bother with reviews but I had to create an account just for this hotel specifically. Starting off, I booked this through booking.com, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel had a broken sewage system and that we, along with six other local families, needed to move to another hotel for the night. This was incredibly inconvenient as we had to carry all our luggage to the new location. Upon returning on the original hotel the next day we were given to sign a disclaimer form, which we refused. While the hotel itself isn't bad, the management and reception staff left much to be desired. The local reception staff, in particular, were indifferent and unhelpful, showing little concern for the inconvenience we experienced. When my room key card stopped working, they claimed to have fixed it, only for it to fail again. It wasn't until a technician intervened that the issue was properly resolved. The technician was professional and very helpful, in stark contrast to the reception staff. I had to wait 1 hour in order to go back to my room and since I suffer from IBS it is very unhealthy and bothersome for me. Adding to our disappointment, we noticed that other families who were also relocated were given free meals as compensation, while we received nothing. Furthermore, we experienced several other issues during our stay such as there was no safe parking space available for our vehicle and the fact that the number of sunbeds provided was inadequate making it difficult to enjoy the pool area. On a more positive note, the bartender and the manager of the restaurant were excellent. They were professional, friendly, and provided great service, which was a refreshing change from the rest of our experience. Despite the positive interactions with the restaurant and technical staff, the overall treatment we received, especially from the reception, was highly disappointing. I would not recommend this place especially if you are Cypriot, as it's clear that the hotel does not prioritize the needs or comfort of local guests. This experience has left me with a very poor impression of the hotel and its management, although I did appreciate the efforts of the bar/restaurant and...
Read moreDrove up from our main hotel in Paphos to spend a couple of days & a night in Ayia Napa. Unfortunately we planned and pre-booked visit while in UK for what ended to be hottest day in years. We spent the afternoon at Nissi beach & returned to this hotel to get ready to go out for something to eat & a lovely evening. I got into a much needed shower. Water was ok few mins then warm water went to very hot & cold went to boiling! Partner went down to reception (I couldn't as covered in soap & shampoo) They were already aware we had no cold water. The Manager shook my partners hand a couple of times, gave his word & said they were working on it and would be fixed within 30 min. 45 min later still only dangerous boiling water. My partner went back down. Receptionist said "The Manager has not kept his word then" & said about another 30 min. My partner had to go and get some large bottles of water to I could rinse off my hair etc. A further 45 min later and still nothing. Partner went down again and was told another 30-45 mins hopefully! By now it was 9.30pm still only boiling water so we had no option but to go out for something to eat without having been able to have a shower. Evening was totally ruined. We spoke to a different Manager the following morning before checking out. Very unhelpful and was either given a lot of false information or she was deliberately lying to us. She said the water was only off for 40 min (must have been over 3 hours), said visitors in the rooms affected were informed (apparently water for the front rooms of the hotel come from the mountains so not all hotel rooms affected!) We were in our room no one knocked or called the telephone in our room then said that everyone was offered a curtesy room to have a shower in. Definitely not. We had to go down 3 times to get updates on when we may have water for a shower and nothing was ever mentioned even though they knew we were waiting for showers to go out. We only wanted to be able get clean and some honesty from Hotel Managers. Managers Customer service 0. Wifi non existent, air con poor and couple of room lights also...
Read moreThe only real advantage of this hotel is its location: central and convenient. Unfortunately, everything else made my stay more stressful than enjoyable.||The room was old and poorly maintained: the ceiling had swollen panels from humidity, the bathtub was surrounded by rust… not exactly what you expect when booking a hotel at this price.||The wifi was a complete disaster. It didn’t work for half of my stay. Every day the same excuses: “someone will come to check the antenna,” “we need to wait for the company.” Result? No concrete solution and, most of all, nobody ever bothered to offer me a room change. I paid for a service, but clearly here they don’t care.||At the reception, instead of finding helpfulness, I found boredom, as if bringing up problems was a nuisance rather than part of their job. Example? I politely asked for a restaurant recommendation: they said, “ok, we’ll call,” but then handed me the phone to speak myself. Zero involvement, zero customer care.||Breakfast was another disappointment: almost entirely salty, with just two sad sweet options. Maybe fine for the English, but for other Europeans who expect a more balanced breakfast, it was very poor.||And to top it off, the room key card stopped working every single day, forcing us to walk back and forth to reception constantly.||In short: excellent location, but everything else was a mix of neglect, disorganization, and uninterested staff. I wouldn’t go back even for free, and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone looking for a...
