Pantachou Beach — Attraction in Ayia Napa

Beautiful beach BUT the staff is incredibly rude and agressive. We were near the Melissi hotel. We paid for two sunbeds and an umbrella to a staff member by card and he gave us the receipt. We paid at 8am in the morning and were at the beach until the afternoon not leaving the sunbeds. And then around 14.00 a couple of friends came to have a quick chat, not even planning to stay. Suddenly the same staff man appeared saying that unless they want to stay, they have to pay. Since they were leaving anyway, we thought everything was okay and friends left. At the moment my boyfriend went for a walk and I was alone. But the staff man wasn’t leaving! He said I have to pay for the sunbeds again or I have to leave. I showed the man the receipt for the payment I made in the morning and he just tore it to pieces! He started to shout and was making angry faces at me. He was grabbing my things, trying to throw my bag and the towel on the sand saying I wasn’t here before, except I was! From 8 am! He was screaming so loud other people on the beach started to defend me. This man just attacked me for nothing! I paid for the sunbeds and I was there the whole time. This is absolute harrasment! Horrible experience...

Pantachou Beach is a beautiful sandy beach located in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. It is a popular tourist destination, but it is not as crowded as some of the other beaches in the area. The water is warm and clear, and there is a good variety of fish to see while snorkeling.

I visited Pantachou Beach on a recent trip to Cyprus. I was immediately struck by the beauty of the beach. The sand was soft and white, and the water was a clear turquoise color.

I also brought a pair of snorkeling goggles and took a dip in the water. I was amazed by the variety of fish I saw. There were small colorful fish, and also some big fish, I spent hours exploring the underwater world.

In addition to snorkeling, there are many other things to do at Pantachou Beach. You can sunbathe, swim, jetsky, or rent a boat. There are also a few restaurants and bars located near the beach.

Overall I had a wonderful time at Pantachou Beach. It is a beautiful beach with something to offer everyone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ayia Napa.

If you are looking for a beautiful beach with great snorkeling, I highly recommend...

Half of this beach is AMAZING, and half of it is just very bad.

-The half that is very bad is close to the harbor, you have rocks inside water for almost 10 or more meters, and it really looks awful. But if you pass these rocks, water gets better. Also, they placed some sand bags inside the water (in 3 places) and made like a path so if you walk over these sand bags, you don’t have to walk on the rocks. Still, i would never visit this part of the beach.

-The AMAZING part of the beach is the second part, closer to Glyki Nero beach. And here water is awesome! Warm, beautiful colors, it is crowded but there are still place for you here. You can stay here and then walk to the Glyki Nero and swim close to the rocks were the water is even more amazing. And if you take a walk on the path on the rocks, here in Glyki Nero, in 5 mins you will see Love Bridge.

I came to Ayia Napa 3 times and never visited this beach (and Glyki Nero) until now and i really regret not coming here before.
