Nissi 49 Apartments — Hotel in Ayia Napa

In 9 years of coming to Cyprus this is by far the worst place ive stayed,,,the web site looks like your getting a high end apartment ,,believe this is low end budget ,||we had no pin number to get our keys with us having to call the owner which took 30-45 mins to get in our room,i paid 200 more on top to upgrade as the site states it coming with a hot tub ,,,it doesnt only a spa bath that the owner calls a hot tub ,false advertising same with beachfront ,,,its not,,i wont even say make sure you check the small print ,just avoid Nissi 49 apartments at all cost ,i feel ripped off ,room was small ,things didnt work settee was very old and broken ,shower i could just about get in ,,this place is a big rip off i paid nearly 900 euros for 2 weeks not worth 200 euro once booked you cant get your money back so do yourself a favour and stay clear of Nissi 49 Apartments worst place by far ive stayed in....... cant say enough stay clear...

Host didn’t pick up the phone, we had to wait hours after a long flight to even be checked in. We booked for three people, however there were only two of everything (blankets, towels etc) The extra bed is useless, not even a smaller woman can sleep there comfortably. The most disgusting thing however is the bathroom. The water does not drain at all after showering and it floods the whole entire apartment, we were splashing in dirty water our whole entire stay. We tried putting towels down at the bathroom door to stop the water from flooding the main room, but no use. We had to sweep the water back to the bathroom after each shower, and even that didn’t really help our situation. Due to the flooding there was always a horrible smell in our apartment. On top of this all there are loads of ants inside the house and the utensils were dirty. Would not recommend anyone booking this apartment if you want a more pleasant...

Absolutely disgusting so called apartments. Basically just a shed down an alleyway. Cockroaches and silverfish in the room, on the bed. Flies everywhere. Paid extra for a jacuzzi which is basically just a bath with stagnant water coming out of the jets that don't even work. Immediately drained the water from the bath and would rather sit in the salt water I'm covered in from Nissi beach. Management are useless and will refuse to refund customers for their disgusting rooms. I'd highly advise everyone to avoid these like the plague before

Edit - Apartment manager has now rectified and we are staying in the apartment above which is a lot nicer! I think if pests were under control and the smell of damp was rectified, the smaller apartment would be comfortable...
