Acropolis Restaurant — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

We came here by chance, after having arranged some work for ourselves. The guy on the street called us in. He took us off our feet in an unbelievable way,then escorted us to the table after placing our order, we soon received our food/drinks. Real hospitality staff work here, they are extremely professional, kind and the service is great. The food (Fresh octopus with potatoes, and king crab in garlic seasoning) was delicious. The octopus had a texture that was not chewy, soft, delicately seasoned... We've never had anything so delicious. Then the crab, the sauce they put it in, was an amazing world of flavour. If you're open to people, you should definitely come in here. There are professionals working here who don't look out of place. Everyone is equal. Our cocktail was a Blue Hawaii, or what we got as a gift I don't know but it was divine, they hit it perfectly on taste. Not too much alcohol, but not too little either. Everything about this place is EXCEPTIONAL! I’m currently here with my 7 year old daughter. We found it yesterday and knew it would be our favourite spot. First of all the Staff are beyond Amazing! So polite and friendly, I would come for that alone but to top it off the food is absolutely gorgeous and so cheap! The service is so quick! They have bouncy castles, a trampoline, slides, a basket ball hoop, loads of electric ride on cars and more for the kids to do whilst you sit back and enjoy yourself! On the second day we came the Owners daughter was in and she was so lovely, putting together new toys and got my daughter involved she was amazing and was so sweet with my daughter, naming the playhouse they built the ‘Maiya’ house (My daughters name). She even got her some ice cream! My server both yesterday and today was Sona and I’ve never met such a kind person, she was so nice and made you feel so so welcome! Sona needs a raise! Honestly we just had a bad experience here. Our waiter was unbelievably rude, he made several mistakes with our orders which we made them aware of nicely, which resulted in him rolling his eyes and shaking his head while trying to explain his way out of it. A nice waitress delivered our food instead and apologised several times for his mistakes. We really didn’t raise our tones or spoke rudely to him, so it’s honestly quite comical to us. The food was not good quality but it was expected for the area. We ordered some pizzas which for some reason came in all different sizes. This we asked about, nicely, and again he tried to explain his way out of it. We could see on the bill later that this was because he for some reason put these in as kids size pizzas.
