Lovely location in Platres with an incredible breakfast buffet — especially on Sunday! On Monday, the hot buffet wasn’t available, but we could order the hot dishes anyway - the lady working at the breakfast restaurant was very kind. They left a complementary sweet treat in the room for us to celebrate our anniversary and that was really kind - plus the chocolate cake was incredible! The Saturday evening atmosphere was unexpectedly hectic, with a large group of young children due to weekend sports competitions (apparently a regular occurrence in summer), which disrupted the relaxed vibe we expected from a boutique hotel - even the hotel staff seemed annoyed with the younger guests. Rooms were small and a bit tired and the shower needed a deep clean. The mountain view was a bit disappointing from our room (111). The sweet treats left every night in the room were a lovely touch. Overall good, just slightly disappointing for the reasons mentioned above.

Our stay was short but beautiful. We had a cosy room with beautiful views. The staff were friendly, kind and super helpful. We mentioned that we are Vegan & Vegetarian and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Anika especially was with us during our breakfast and made our experience here special, unique and we left with a full tummy and great BIG smile. Natalia welcomed us to the premises and also ensure that our tea experience before we left was equally divine. Thank you to everyone who made this stay so soul fulfilling. The only suggestion, that we would give is that the volume of the night live show decrease a lot. We could hear the music all the way to our room and dining restaurant. (Not everyone likes blasting music, especially in this beautiful picturesque environment ~ and I am a musician that can appreciate this style too..just didn’t fit with the whole atmosphere). We will definitely be back!

Delightful! The staff contributed immensely to the visit đŸ„° from the moment we walked in Cleo warmly greeted us & gave us her attention to Anika kindly & graciously assisting us in the dining room, & to the rest of the staff -> kudos, I regret not recalling everyone’s name in order to recognize their expertise! The food in the dining room was delicious & generous. The rooms were pleasant & an evening candy was left 😋 The sauna was a welcome restorative respite after a long drive. Easy WiFi. The hotel is placed well & outside houses were minimal to non-existent. The caveat was the neighboring room had the television blasting but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault just a person who evidently needed hearing assistance. Parking was easy. This is a place one could spend a month visiting to refresh. Try the croissants at Petite Patisserie 😋

Nice little hotel. Food was exceptional. Music from the restaurant was very loud in our room until midnight and we had a 2 year old with us. Staff was extremely polite and pleasant except for the Cypriot receptionist (lady in her late 50s). I had an email confirmation from their own booking system that said we could check out at 12 instead of 11. She eventually reluctantly ”allowed” us to check out at 12 after an intense discussion, during which I pleaded with her multiple times to be more polite. She never changed her tone nor apologized. She even said “you can check out at 12 but not a minute later!”. Surely this is not a way to talk to a customer, who paid €140 for a single night. The worst thing is, I filled in their online survey the next day, which they sent me via email, describing everything in detail but no one ever got in touch to apologize. * EDIT * I got a call from the manager this morning. Even though what I am describing above is true, the fact that this man took 20 minutes out of his time to call me and ask for my feedback and sincerely apologize, made me change my rating. Bad moments happen for everyone but at the end of the day what’s important is to own up to it and make your customer feel heard and special. This is what Mr Tsanos did for us and for this I am very appreciative. It truly seems they love what they do and that this was indeed an isolated event. Looking forward to visiting and seeing all the nice staff again. Thank you Stavros for the...

Potentially a lovely boutique hotel in a great spot, but a few issues mean we won’t return: they hosted lots of kids who were staying for football matches over the weekend. The vast majority of these children were feral and terribly behaved, the bartender told me this is standard for a weekend in the summer. It’s hard to be marketed as a boutique hotel when myself and my girlfriend were looking for a quiet weekend away. we paid extra for a Mountain View room but our view was blocked completely by trees, all we could see & hear was the staff taking smoking breaks below our balcony (room 111) the shower was also very dirty, with the grouting very yellow, it hadn’t been deep cleaned in months. The shower temperature as swung from hot to cold each minute making showers unpleasant.

However the staff were lovely and the cook baked a little cake for us on our first night which was delicious. They also dropped off little cakes each evening to our room. The breakfast spread was gorgeous and definitely worth trying, especially combined with the view from the dining room balcony.

I’d recommend they refocus on getting the little things right, a lot of potential but not quite hitting...

We were afraid that Pano Platres didn't have any decent accommodation, despite its reputation as the summer capital of Cyprus. So we were surprised to find Petit Palais, a modest but very pretty inn, with all the rooms having pretty balconies with pretty views.||There is almost no lobby to speak of, since the receiving area leading quickly into the bar. The front desk person, Dmitri, was such a funny guy to talk to. ||The room is on the small side, with a small modern desk, the modern design also reflected in the safe-minibar cabinet and night tables. There is no clothes cabinet but simply an open rod with hangers. There's a nice art frame above the headboard and a floor to height mirror. The TV screen is large, with several English language channels.||We were disappointed with the T&B - too small! The shower stall seemed like less than a meter square. No bidet. There's no washboard around the basin - simple the basin, so no place to put your toiletry bag. ||Breakfast was wonderful - they had an omelet station which was impressive for the place. The restaurant offered a decent selection of fine dining choices for the evening. The food we ordered were all high quality. Kudos...
