Delfini Villas — Hotel in Paralimni

We have just returned from one of our best holidays, celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in Villa 8, absolutely perfect in every way. The villa was very spacious, 3 bedrooms all air conditioned, a main bathroom, en-suite to master bedroom and downstairs toilet. All bedrooms have a connecting balcony overlooking the pool. Downstairs beautifully furnished, with large open plan living with a good sized kitchen with all the mod cons. We arrived to champagne & chocolates as we were celebrating our anniversary which was lovely. The fridge was stocked with milk, bread, orange juice, water, butter and preserves. Tea, coffee and sugar. Good sized pool that was serviced twice a week, 6 sun loungers, table & chairs and barbecue. Location was perfect, peaceful with the added bonus of being a 5-10 minute walk to ‘Tiny Beach’ and a 10-15 minute walk along a boardwalk to Fig Tree Bay and the main strip of Protaras. We had a car which we collected from the airport on arrival which was much better than having to wait for the coach transfer. The villa was a 45 minute drive from the airport and the villa had parking for a least 2 cars on its own gated driveway. The guest services team were fantastic, couldn’t do enough for you, from booking boat trips, recommending restaurants and places to visit. We even managed to extend our check out time on our last day from 11am to 3pm (free of charge) due to us having a 10pm. Villa 8 in our opinion was the better one due to it being an end villa, only overlooked by 2 properties but screened by trees. Highly recommended for a lovely stay...

We stayed in number 4 and it was horrible. As soon as we walked through the doors when we arrived we was hit with a horrible smell and it was even stronger upstairs. The cushions and chairs was stained. The air conditioning was rubbish. Holes and pipes in the walls. Bathroom was awful dirty old taps. Ants infestation on the patio. Bird Pooh on the sun loungers ripped and dated. The pool was the worst there was scum on the sides and constant insects piling up dead at the bottom because the pool guy would only come every 3 days and by the evening the bugs would be back piling up. Big open cracks around the pool where there was cockroaches coming out and running around. Had a few occasions where there was cockroaches in the villa. One by the dinner table where we was eating and the worst was waking up to one in the bedroom. We had villa 8, which in my opinion is the best there is. It is a three bed, two bathroom with its own private pool, which is serviced twice a week. All amenities are provided for a self catering stay, but I was particularly disappointed with the bath towels provided. One, in particular was smeared with what looked like lipstick, and when I left it on the floor when the cleaners came in after a week, it was still nicely folded on my bed.|It gets the sun all day and is nicely secluded, only overlooked by two houses, but in our two weeks, we hardly noticed them.|It is about a 15 minute walk to the main strip in Protaras, where all the bars and restaurants are.|There’s snorkelling from the bay 5 minutes walk away and Fig Tree bay is only another 10 minutes walk. |All in all, I would...
