I had higher hopes for this place but I’m sad to say it was just ok. The restaurant itself is nice enough but like some other reviews I’d say the food is a bit bland/average. I got the prawns in garlic, Greek salad, and pork skewer.
Firstly, the prawns came in a creme sauce, not in oil and garlic as you might think. The creme sauce was nice enough but there was no hint of garlic. For mains we ordered moussaka and calamari. I can’t stand the raw onions everyone puts on food here as a garnish - but that’s not just this restaurant- it’s everywhere! The moussaka was fine but there was way too much cheese sauce and not enough filling. The filling itself was quite oily and again lacked flavour. This should be a national dish so I was a bit disappointed. It definitely lacked proper seasoning. The calamari was also just fine, again lacking any real flavour.
This place is definitely just average for food. It isn’t bad at all, just nothing special, which is a shame as the restaurant...

We had an amazing time at Yiasemi. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us with exceptional care and attentiveness. The service was truly five-star, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our entire visit.
Now, onto the food—it was beyond our expectations! Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell that the chefs put their heart into every plate. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, this place won’t disappoint.
What made the experience even better was the playground for the little ones. It gave us some much-needed relaxation time while the kids were happily entertained. It’s a perfect spot for families!
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We will...
Read more"How bad can a grill place be?" After what looks like a decent place to eat and reading the reviews, this place was rather disappointing. In fact, from what was otherwise a perfect day in Protaras, this place left a sour taste. They really need to sort out the quality of the food. The most tolerable meal was the chicken salad. Salmon was burnt and two dishes of lamb chops were so atrocious, I'm quite tolerable, but this brought out the Gordan Ramsey in me. Rather then a nice plate of cutlets, we received one cutlet and little bits of bone and fat, in which, a box of 6 chicken nuggets would of served up more meet. Disgusted, I sent them back. Those pieces should of never been cooked up nor served, they belonged stew dish. When paying 15 euro a dish, you expect something tasty...
