I’m sorry to say this was one of the worst meals we have ever tasted. We were a party of three and we had the set meal for three. Chicken curry ( tasteless)chicken and cashew nuts ( tasteless) beef and bamboo shoots ( disgusting!!!! Beef looked as if it was out of a packet it was perfectly formed flat 2mm thick I’ve never seen anything like it we should have returned it) and sweet and sour pork ( soggy batter not crispy and wasnt nice at all) 1 portion of rice between the three of us and we bought extra chips which were amazing. We also had 1 pancake roll (chopped up lettuce and carrots) and pork chops in a barbecue or sweet and sour sauce it was hard to tell. The staff were outstanding and very friendly indeed. I would have given the staff 5 stars but I don’t want people thinking the restaurant was 5 stars. Overall, the meal was fine, I enjoyed the meat, vegetables and the sauce, though the bamboo shoots were a bit too bitter for my taste. Rice tasted differently from what I am used to, maybe a different type of rice is used, not sure. I don't think I'll return though, the fancy establishment it is trying to be does not make the dining experience pleasant and it drives up the prices massively. It was the most expensive Chinese meal (as well as the bowl of rice itself) I've ever had. I just cannot justify spending that much, particularly on such small servings. First things first - order the dumplings!

Very good Chinese food with a menu that has all your favourites and a few other dishes too. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, the service efficient and very friendly and the prices reasonable.

We loved the food (especially the dumplings) with the sizzling black bean dishes standing out. The crispy duck comes sliced (off the bone) rather than shredded so you don't get quite the same taste as back home (UK) however it tasted good , if not exceptional.
