Penzion U Babky bylinkářky — Hotel in okres Kutná Hora

This is the worst experience I've had in a hotel! We arrrived around 7:50 pm (due to a flight delay) which they consider it a 'late' check in so there was no one at the reception and we were not given any instructions about how to check in in advance. After calling them we received some indications on how to find a key and got a room but after about 20 minutes someone came to tell us that they gave us the wrong room and we need to pack again and move. And for this they charged us 20 eur!! The guy at the reception claimed that they had called me at 17:00 the day of check in when I was on the flight so my phone was not available therefore they considered the reservation canceled (although the room was booked via Booking and a credit card was charged). I've never experienced this and communication with them was really bad. In addition, there is no breakfast included in the expensive price room of almost 100eur and there is never ever anyone at the reception to ask for help. And if you find someone at the reception they don't speak english at all. The rooms face the railways so don't expect a good night sleep and no one cleans the rooms during the stay. Velmi prijemne ubytovani pro rodiny s detmi v centru Kutne hory. Prijemny pristup majitele i pani recepcni/pokojske. Na pozadani nam vymenili pokoj, abychom misto sprchoveho koutu meli vanu, protoze nase mala dcerka se sprchy boji. :) V penzionu je velka detska herna se spoustou hracek a dcerka si mohla pohrat i na dost neudrzovane a zarostle zahrade, kde je houpacka. Nekomu by mohla vadit neudrzovana zahrada, kde volne roste spousta bylinek a kvetin, ale take kopriv - ale my to takhle mame radi. :) Navic zrovna v penzionu prebyvaly i deti pani recepcni, takze mela dcera partaky na hrani. Pokoje jsou ciste, ale maji nektere vady, jako odpadavajici kryty ze zasuvek, rozbite supliky nebo nefunkcni uzaver ve vane. Ubytovani ale jinak natolik utulne a mile, ze clovek rad tyhle drobnosti odpusti. Bohuzel nedoslo na "babovku a teple napoje po celou dobu pobytu", jak je penzion inzeruje na svem webu, a jak nekteri hoste chvali v recenzich. Behem naseho pobytu se nic takoveho nekonalo. Snidane byla servirovana a asi doslo k nejakemu nedorozumeni, protoze jsme si objednali parky a vajicka a dostali jenom michana vajicka. Ta ale byla opravdu vyborna, nebyla vysusena ani syrova, s jarni cibulkou. Bohuzel jsme k nim dostali jen suchy chleba, i kdyz bychom ocenili take maslo na namazani. Bokem jsme si jeste mohli dat babovku plnou orisku a kandovaneho ovoce (moc dobrou), jablecny kolac nebo cerealie. Pres drobne nedostatky doporucuji zarizeni vsem, kdo vic nez perfektni servis oceni rodinnou a utulnou atmosferu. Jestli jeste nekdy pojedeme do Kutne Hory, urcite se sem radi...

Penzion is a traditional burgess house that is easy to find, situated in the old town near to the city center. It was very easy to start our sightseeing from here. Penzion was very clean filled with an aroma of various herbs. We used a wellness - herb baths which was really relaxing. Room was clean and pretty large (including a small kitchen). The personnel was very nice and always keen to help with any of our demands. I recommend this pension for herbs and calm loving tourists (suitable also for family...
