Hotel Apollon — Hotel in okres Litoměřice

We stayed here one night on a bike tour. Our room had some issues. We asked to be moved, but there were no other rooms, so we toughed it out for one night. The only small window opened to the sky and you could not see the street. The shower/sink room had a bad odor and the fan did not work. Other than that, the room was very clean, beds comfortable and the man on duty was helpful, friendly and spoke English. The breakfast room was small, but had a nice selection. We arrived at the rather unprepossessing entrance to find it locked and no answer, but the friendly manager quickly arrived full of apologies as he'd been out walking his dog! This was a perfectly decent place for a one night stopover on our bike tour. The elevator is useful if you're staying on the top floor and the free wifi seemed good throughout the building. There was a bit of traffic noise during the night (not helped because it was a Saturday and there was a music festival going on in the main square) but not too disturbing. This hotel is only about 5-10 walk to the main square which is really attractive. ||There is also a really good bar about 50-100 metres away - just turn right out of the front door and right at the first turning and it's just down the road.||The staff were really helpful, it's clean and the breakfast was good. The only thing which let it down was the size of our room which was really small. There was nowhere to put our suitcases so we ended up tripping over them.
