Hotel Horní Pramen — Hotel in okres Trutnov

I’m quite a demanding tourist so…

The first impression was moderate. You enter the hallway with a little desk and very friendly lady who checks you in.

Then in the room the bed takes 3/4 of your space (view towards the slopes) and nice balcony. The room was not exactly clean when first entered. Shower required unclogging and desk surface was dirty. Spiders net near the ceiling. However majority of these things were quickly resolved with staff - super friendly and helpful.

Huge play area for kids and even a cinema room. Wish there was more people to socialise with. I heard people walking on corridor every time so extra sound insulation or better doors would help. Also the table tennis was folded and I wanted to play so bad. But there is not much space for it.

The food was relatively good, especially dinners were great. For breakfast not much variety. (Hot dogs, scrambled eggs and standard sandwiches)

There is big storage for skis and boots which is super important for those who ski.

The best part with this accommodation is that we got dinners included in the price when booked via website. That saved us a lot of money!! Also Pavel very helpful and...

This hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Spindleruv Mlyn, out in the woods but still only 5 minutes in a cab to the lively centre. Cabs are 24hrs and always ready to pick up within 10 minutes by the way. |The hotel itself is simple and functional, perfect for a winter sports holiday. The people who work there/run it though are top class. Especially Stepan, who waited for us on our v late arrival and even went to the trouble of making us a freshly poured pint which he brought to the room (points!!) it was 2.30 in the morning!! He was there first thing and helped us organise our ski and snowboard hire with Sport Mixer that basically cost twice less than the other ones I looked at (also they allowed us to leave the equipment at the hotel in the end of our trip) more points!!||The hotel has a very efficient sauna and good showers as well as gorgeous views of the hills. ||Breakfast is decent with eggs and sausages, cheeses and hams, cereals and jams etc! There’s also cake.||Overall we had an excellent time and it’s mainly thanks to the team at Horni Pramen. Thank you!!!...

If you are not Czech,German or Pole,the Staff is not polite with you like with other guests.When we approached to them,they pretended not to notice us.Then they were talking to us,they forgot at once english,and didn't understand our english at all.Do you know,what our chief should left for him to do,if he know that his staff show smb's dislike?-He discharged the staff at once.Everything might be o'key,if location was good.But it is far from the bus station and the center.You have to climb up with your luggage and all equipment you have all the time you want to come back to the hotel.If you drive your car it is perfect,if not this is 1 hour minimum takes you to go there.Taxi is very expensive,because it is longest distance.Some good things was that the breakfast was quite well,all you need is there-nothing else.If you need hair-dryer you have to ask on the recepcion.There is no TV on the room,there is no picturesque scenery throw your window.So,for unpretentious tourists with no money and with their own car it is the cheapest choice!But if I had opportunity to choose something...
