Tastewise, the food was below average. I ordered a quarter Bohemian duck (Pečená kachna). The dumplings were dry and there was some water on the plate, suggesting that the meal was reheated poorly. At nighttime, a few hours later, the vomiting and so on started. I had to spend the following day in bed due to severe food poisoing with fever, vomiting etc. I am pretty sure that it was caused by the duck served at this restaurant, as we ate rather simple and noncriticial food beforehand. The fact that this is not the first review complaining about severe food poisoning should give you enough information to avoid this place. Considering the rude response to a review 11 months earlier, it seems that the restaurant is ignorant of the ongoing food safety issues. On the positive side, the service was friendly. We went here for dinner. We had the onion rings and pickled cheese as appertizers. They were very good, the sauce with the onion rings was different and the pickled cheese was also very good and something new for us.

Then we had the fish and me the roast duck. The fish was good but the roast duck was really sublime. I did not care that much for the dumplings with the duck, i've had better during our stay in Czech republic but like i said, the duck itself was incredibly good. The red cabbage was also very good.

The waiters were also very friendly, polite, even allowed us to switch tables etc. One of them made a few jokes.

We are a family of five, two elderly traveling around the Czech Republic and having a great time. When we sat down at our table the waiter was extermly rude and condescending and treated us badly without any provocation, I have no idea why he behaved in such a way but in all my years of traveling around the world never such a thing happened to me, we cancelled our order and left. The reply to this review is as expected from a place that allows it's employees to treat customers in such a way. 10 minutes later we found ourselves in a lovely little restaurant providing the level of service befitting the hospitality this little town gives...
