We stayed here in December, just after Christmas for 1 night. We were meeting friends there who stayed 3 nights. Our opinion was the same...excellent location at the bottom of svaty petr slopes and close to a bar and a restaurant. The hotel is a lovely 7 minute walk into the centre of town. So if it's skiing you want this location is perfect. However the barman and receptionist were unprofessional.||||Just to elaborate...We ordered chips in the bar at 10.45pm. 30 mins later we enquired where they were and we were told bluntly "kitchen closed"||||On check-out there was an issue with the receptionist. We were a party of 11 in 4 rooms. 2 of the 4 rooms gave the keys back at 9.30am and were told to settle bill when the other 2 rooms checked out. check out was not til 12pm but for some reason, at 10am, the receptionist assumed we were not going to pay even though 2 of our party had not checked out and even though she said we pay together! Anyway she demanded the other 2 rooms clear out at 10am, demanded payment and said she would call police! She was very unprofessional and when we all settled the bill refused to talk. Was all abit crazy!||||Anyway the hotel itself is ok, basic, but good continental breakfast. Rooms are basic but large (we had an extra bed for our child) and bathrooms are very dated. ||Because of the season rates were high but the hotels 'normal' rate would make it good value.||||I would stay here again but only because of...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel in the middle of July 2016. I was supposed to stay at another hotel but due to booking.com they did not receive my reservation so they the day I was supposed to arrive - they said they did not have room for me. The offered to put me at Lenka Hotel - I had a busy day ahead of me so I did not have time to research another hotel. The original one I was staying at was on top of the mountain, and this one is at the base - so that was disappointing to me. However, the staff here was incredible! They normally close at 8:00PM but I could not get there until 9:30 PM. I called them earlier in the evening and informed them that I would not be able to check in by 8:00 PM. They kindly agreed to stay open. They stuck around for an additional hour and a half so that I could check in. When I arrived, they were VERY polite and helpful! ||||The WIFI was down on the 4th floor (which is where my room was), so that was kind of a bummer - but it worked very well on the other three floors, so you just had to find an area on another floor to use it. ||||The view was not one you would find at the top of the mountains, but it is still tucked in some trees at the base of the mountains - so it was still beautiful. ||||The rooms were very spacious and clean! ||||Overall, I wasn't super excited about switching hotels - but the cleanliness of the rooms, and the staff of this hotel made it all...
Read moreThe room was big enough but not so clean. Hotel is about 100m from ski lift so it is handy. ||Bathroom 4 (on scale 1 to 10). Shower curtain sticking to your body brrrrrr||Breakfast quite good but service, well, I will be frank, nonexistent. ||At night there is no staff at the hotel. If you happened to have noisy, drunken neighbours than you have to deal with them or pretend nothing has happened as there is no one to help you. ||The hotel has specific smell which could be unbearable for some. ||If there is a lot of ice outside don’t count on the staff that they will use some sand or salt to make safe the passage to parking lot. ||The client must pay and doesn’t have any rights. ||The main ski lift was switched of but the ski pass was still the same price. Generally Spindlerowy Mlyn is expensive and not client friendly. Wi-fi in some places OK in...
