Penzion Kulíšek — Hotel in okres Znojmo

My wife and I, with a couple of our friends, spent a night in Penzion Kulíšek, Znojmo, Czech Republic, in the first half of May 2017. It is a combination of cafe and pension. There are several rooms for guests at the first and second floor and we used two of them. Rooms were large and clean. Parking was at the back side of the building with one of two entrance. The other entrance was to the street, closed after 8 PM. But it was possible to use it later calling the owner. It was important and helpful for us because of my wife, who is a disabled person. Breakfast was served at the backside in the basement separately for us and was very good. Pension is at great location, in walking distance to the center of the city. Verry small rooms and totally arrogant boss. I had a room with baththub because I love to take a bath after a long day. But it was impossible to take a relaxing bath because the water runns only luke warm. I requestet hot water after the first exerience and i was told it was because other guests may have emptied the hot water Reservoir. So I tried next day at 4pm so the Reservoir should be hot. But again only luke warm water. It is because the boss wants to save energy costs. You wiĺl never get hot water at this place. It is a total rip off you will stay at a place that is ruled by a niggard....

A nice, old restored hotel. We had the family room that was pretty big. It is clean and very friendly owner. Breakfast was big and freshly prepared. Small, cozy and a lot of old stuff like clocks, coffee bean grinders, old pictures including family pictures. The rooms looking o to the street are a bit noisy when windows open.
