What a gorgeous boutique hotel. Once we had found it we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Really comfortable room and generous bathroom made it feel quite luxurious.||Staff were friendly and helpful.||Have an in house bar-tasting room for wines - seems wineries/wine are also part of the hotel owner's portfolio and the reception area looks like a wine store. They offer a wine tasting in the bar or outside on a patio. We chose outside and despite my wife being reticent we both thoroughly enjoyed it - you basically choose the number of wines you want to try and for a small fee they bring out wines and nibblies.||Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.||Breakfast was also lovely.||Just be warned if you want to eat in the restaurant it pays to book early. To Lahofer Hotel in Znojmo, we regularly return every year and we are always very satisfied. The hotel offers very good accommodation in a historic building in the old centre of Znojmo, excellent cuisine with wines from Lahofer winery and friendly staff, all of which make your stay extremely pleasant. There is a secure parking lot, good Wi-Fi signal in rooms and bicycle storage room, or guests can rent hotel's bikes. In all honesty, generally speaking, I would give this a three star rating. The reception area on the ground floor is tiny and the only place where I could get a decent wi-fi reading, the dinner was average at best, and the breakfast just about adequate. However it has a good location within easy walking distance of a number of the sights, the rooms were clean, but above all else the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Well...
