Four Points Flex by Sheraton Aalborg — Hotel in Aalborg Municipality

Zleep Aalborg is a cheap and central place near Aalborg main station. The hotel is very modern, seems newly built - and so are the rooms: everything including bathroom looks new, modern, not-too-used and is very clean and comfortable. Keep that good feeling up, Zleep-crew! Check-in is possible via self-service but there is also staff to help, so no problems here. If you arrive by car, there is a parking garage just around the corner and you can pay for your ticket at the hotel reception. So everything looks and feels fine, just one issue: As new as the hotel is, they seemingly didn't invest in good windows and room doors. The latter means you might hear every single word (yes, I mean it!) people speak while walking the aisle in front of your room. Windows on the other hand are not as isolated as they should be, meaning you feel a constant whiff of air coming through. The bigger problem though is the almost constant noise from outside: People talking, trucks rolling and unloading, construction work (as the hotel is situated in a area of costruction as of August 2021). I stayed five nights at Four Points by Sheraton in Aalborg and would definitely return. The hotel is located right next to Aalborg Central Station, which made everything easy and accessible. I stayed in the same room throughout—comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was quiet at night and had everything needed for a longer stay.

The team were excellent across the board. Line, Mark, Kamilla, & Theresa,were especially great (+ many others I never got their names)—helpful, welcoming, and professional throughout. They made the stay feel smooth and personal from check-in to check-out.

The hotel itself is well managed. It felt clean, organised, and everything ran as it should. If anything, a slight improvement could be made around the consistency of fresh towels and general housekeeping, but that was very minor and did not affect the overall quality of the stay.

The current Google rating genuinely does not reflect what I experienced. Service was consistently high, and the entire stay felt like it was handled by a team that takes pride in what they do. Strongly recommend and would...

Previously Zleep. It was in a great location and walking distance to the city center, shops and the train station. The service and amenities could do with a few upgrades. For example, the room was made up on two single beds and blankets, while I was a solo traveller I would still like to have a full size bed. Additional the room lacked many amenities such as no tea, coffee, mini bar, kettle and the only bathroom product was a 3 in 1 hand/body/hair wash, some individual amenities such as conditioner etc would be nice. There were not even any facial tissues that in the room. I also would have like more than just a paper cup for the bathroom. The breakfast could also do with some improve, while the food was nice it didn’t change once the entire 8 nights I was there, so just some more variety would be good.
