One of the least accommodating restaurant I had the displeasure to walk in. The menu is absolutely not baby friendly and I had the bad luck of going there with my three years old daughter. We have asked the waitress (Called Charlotte) if we could have order some fried potatoes as there was nothing on the menu which our daughter would have eaten, the answer was no, we don't do that, we have explored other option including a toast with ham (Which restaurant cannot accommodate such a simple request), once again the answer was no. We were 9 of us, so we have tried to stay even tough the atmosphere was already ruined. My daughter was starving and my husband decided to go on the other side of the road to a Burger King to get her a small pack of France fries so she would have something to eat to, the result was that the waitress Charlotte come to our table saying in a quite abrupt way that that wasn't possible to bring any food from outside the premises, I told her, do you realise that if I cannot feed my daughter I will have to leave, and she said, yes I do! so we left, disgusted by the place and the service and BTW I am Danish-Italian, this restaurant has no idea what Italian cousins is about, the few things we have tried before we left where way below average, strongly recommend to stay...
Read moreIn visit to my wife's Danish family they had the brilliant idea to invite me to eat Italian (me coming from that country), they booked in this very fancy restaurant they said had a fantastic reputation, well, that's all they have the reputation, food was below average, pretentious and not well prepared, the whole atmosphere stiff upper lip but without the substance to allow it. Italian, not kidding, if you would try to open something like that in Italy you will have riots ripping it of a piece by piece, defining it Italian is offensive for my culture and the culinary richness we hold. On top of this, very inflexible, we went there with our three years old daughter (a bit of a fussy eater to be fair) and asked for some France fries or a ham sandwich. Which restaurant, especially a supposed Italian one wouldn't accommodate such a simple request? well, they didn't, with the result we had to leave and go to eat with our daughter on the burger king on the other side of the road, brilliant customer care and overall service, bad food (definitely not Italian) and really, really expensive, avoid that place...
Read moreI went there on my birthday and I am vegetarian. There were no vegetarian options on the menu. When I asked if I could have a ravioli without the fish and asked if instead they could add grilled vegetables on the side the waitress promptly refused. They brought just ravioli, which was ok but not amazing. When I asked the dessert, my husband said it was my birthday if they could do something nice- again she said:"we don't do that!" I don't expect restaurant have every type of food- even though I am vegetarian I am not picky. The only thing I expect from this type of place is to have a good service and treat well the customer- that just didn't happened. So, thank you for the worst birthday...
