Title: A Memorable Stay at Holiday Inn Cairo Hotel
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Cairo Hotel during my visit to Egypt, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay was exceptional.
First and foremost, the hotel's location is fantastic. Situated in the heart of Cairo, it offers easy access to major attractions such as the Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Additionally, being close to public transportation made exploring the city hassle-free.
The staff at Holiday Inn Cairo Hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From check-in to check-out, their warm hospitality was evident. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The housekeeping team maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a pleasant environment.
The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The amenities provided in each room were top-notch, including a flat-screen TV with international channels, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and a well-stocked minibar.
One highlight of my stay was dining at the hotel's restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection of delicious dishes catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you preferred traditional Egyptian cuisine or international favorites, there was something for everyone. The attentive waitstaff ensured that every meal was an enjoyable experience.
The hotel also boasts excellent leisure facilities. The rooftop swimming pool offered breathtaking views of Cairo's skyline while providing a refreshing escape from the bustling city below. Additionally, the fitness center was well-equipped with modern machines for those looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Cairo Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its prime location, attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent dining options made my visit to Cairo truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a delightful stay in the heart of Egypt's vibrant...

Unfortunately, my stay began on a disappointing note due to a very poor check in experience. While the hotel itself is impressive, modern, clean, and directly connected to the large Citystars Mall, the initial interaction left a lasting negative impression.
When I arrived, I was welcomed by a very helpful and polite check in clerk who processed my check in without asking for payment. There had been an issue with the payment link from our company, but she assured me that the payment could be taken at check out. She also took my passport details, which should have been more than sufficient if any issue arose.
Shortly after, my colleagues arrived and were told they could not check in due to the same payment issue. I explained that I had already been checked in, but the other clerk, who appeared more senior, became visibly agitated. He began to reprimand the staff member who had checked me in, right in front of us. This was extremely unprofessional and frankly unacceptable. We explained that if the company did not pay, we would personally settle the bill. Only then did he agree to proceed, but I asked why my verbal confirmation made any difference to the hotel policy. He had no answer.
To make matters worse, the way he addressed his colleague was completely inappropriate. She was calm and courteous throughout, and his attitude came across as dismissive and confrontational. It was uncomfortable to witness, especially considering that he was publicly scolding a female colleague in front of guests.
These are the situations that separate good hotels from great ones. Unfortunately, this hotel clearly does not have what it takes to be great.
The customer service in this instance was far below the standard I would expect from a five star hotel. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst check in experience I have ever had.
That said, the hotel facilities are excellent. The rooms are well maintained, the hotel is clean and modern, and the breakfast was very good. However, the damage was already done. First impressions matter, and this one completely overshadowed the...
Read moreThis is a very nice and well run Holiday Inn and I would rate it to be amongst the very best I have been too. Before coming to this Hotel, I messaged them and asked a few questions, I received an immediate and pleasant response that they were happy to assist. I want to give a special mention to Karim who is an absolute delight. The duty managers, and reception team are all brilliant they communicate well and just made me feel good about staying at this hotel.
On entering the lobby area through a good but non intrusive security screening, you will find it very spacious and inviting, it's Cozy and homey. Attached to the Citystars shopping mega mall you have everything you could possibly want. The wonderful front office staff who are all lovely and pleasant gave us a very warm welcome on arrival, it was perfect and we were greeted as a valued Spire Elite IHG rewards club member.
The rooms are fabulous, large and roomy with everything you could need, on entering you see the bright and lovely new and refurbished interiors, some of the nicest beds you'll find with the famous Holiday Inn pillow menu that you may request your favourite pillow type. A great bathroom and all the amenities you could need. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star Hotel, but they behave as it is, so my point Is, that it’s all well above expectations.
Its all marvellous the staff are some of the most friendly you can find. Near the business center and on the wonderfully modernized restaurant area and cafe and you'll have plenty of lounges. This whole area gives you a great sense of being in a home. In the restaurant It's obvious one can start with an amazing breakfast, the greeting lovely, the service superb and the food selection is great. There is mostly everything to suit most tastes from pancakes, egg station so you may have eggs cooked to your desire by very nice and competent chefs. and a good variety of other delights, fruits, cold cut meats cheeses and much much more the staff are all very helpful in the breakfast area and very nice and if something runs out just ask nicely and they are more than happy to get it.
This is a lovely hotel with a nice team and I highly...
