I had the pleasure of spending 10 wonderful days at the Aladdin Beach Resort with my family, and I can confidently say it was an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The resort offers many amenities and exceptional service, making it a great destination for anyone looking for a stress-free holiday.

Rooms and Comfort The rooms are incredibly clean, and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job of maintaining them daily. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the air conditioning works perfectly. This is especially important because, surprisingly, the nights in Egypt can get quite cold, even though the days are warm.

Dining Experience The resort boasts five restaurants, providing plenty of dining options to suit every taste. The main restaurant is where most guests will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food variety changes slightly every day, so there’s always something new to try, though the overall menu doesn't stray too far from familiar offerings.

A special mention goes to two hostesses, Damiana and Hend, who greet everyone with warm smiles and always ensure guests are seated comfortably. Their cheerful attitude instantly lifts your mood, making every visit to the restaurant a pleasant one.

Friendly Staff The staff at Aladdin Beach Resort are very friendly and do their best to make your stay memorable. A standout is Mr. William from Travco, who helped us arrange some fantastic trips, including a visit to Mahmya Island—a little paradise that I highly recommend. William went above and beyond, staying in touch to offer advice and assistance even when we traveled outside the resort.

While the staff are kind and accommodating, the biggest drawback is the language barrier. Many staff members do not speak English well, which can make communication challenging at times. It’s something to be prepared for, especially if you need to explain something specific or ask questions. Thankfully William speaks a perfect English :)

Cleanliness and Room Service The room service was excellent. Towels were changed daily, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and the fridge was always stocked with water bottles. This attention to detail ensures you always feel refreshed and taken care of.

Resort Amenities The resort offers fantastic amenities for guests of all ages. There’s a large swimming pool, exciting waterslides, and a poolside bar for refreshing drinks. The private beach is another highlight—it’s clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities. There’s always something to keep you entertained, whether you’re traveling as a family, a couple, or solo.

Fantastic Christmas Evening The resort truly went above and beyond to create a fantastic Christmas evening for all guests. From beautifully decorated spaces to a festive dinner spread, everything was thoughtfully planned. The evening featured live music, performances, and activities that brought everyone together in a joyful celebration. It was an evening to remember, filled with holiday spirit and special moments that made it feel like a magical Christmas away from home.

Outside the Resort One downside is the surrounding area outside the resort. Once you step out, the charm quickly fades. You’ll encounter construction sites, abandoned buildings, and persistent street vendors trying to sell items or offer rides. While some might find this part of the experience interesting, it can become overwhelming and even annoying after a while. If you plan to explore, be cautious and stay aware of your surroundings.

Final Thoughts In a nutshell, Aladdin Beach Resort is a fantastic destination for a relaxing vacation. It offers great food, friendly service, and excellent amenities, all within a clean and well-maintained property. However, there are limited English proficiency among staff and the less appealing surroundings...

Our recent holiday was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences we have ever had. While we tried to find the positives, the sheer number of problems with basic service, hygiene, and facilities made our stay incredibly stressful.||Here is a breakdown of our experience:||Cons (The Overwhelming Majority)|| • Shocking Service & Communication: ||The staff’s lack of training was evident everywhere. Waiters did not understand basic English words like “salad” or “the time.” Ordering was a lottery; there was a more than 50% chance the waiter would bring back whatever they remembered, not what you actually ordered. I asked for chicken and got fish. Another time, I asked for a beer and watched them give it to another man, presumably for a better tip. The attitude was often rude, with one staff member responding to a question with a blunt, “Yes, yes what?”|| • Terrible Food & Drink Quality: The quality was appalling. I was served a RAW omelet on three separate occasions. When I asked for an espresso, I was given an instant coffee with more dry instant coffee sprinkled on top. The beer was flat and tasted like piss. The breakfast selection was extremely limited, and the a la carte sushi restaurant was so bad we had to go to the main buffet afterwards to get a proper meal.|| • Hygiene & Cleanliness Issues: This was a major concern. It appeared someone was literally living in the lobby toilets. This meant they were constantly being closed for cleaning, but were still unusable and smelled like piss everywhere. The Kids’ Club toilet was also absolutely disgusting, with filth everywhere. Housekeeping was unreliable; they would frequently forget to leave towels in the room after cleaning. On one occasion, I had to call reception twice and wait two hours just to get a towel.|| • Poor Facilities & Bizarre Rules: There was no cold water in our room; the tap water was always hot. The hairdryer would only work for 20 seconds at a time before overheating. The water park, a key attraction, inexplicably closes midday, kicking everybody out for lunch. Furthermore, they don’t serve beer there—only soft drinks and coffee.|| • Unprofessionalism and Disregard for Guests: The issues started before we even arrived, with the airport transfer charging us £100 instead of the agreed-upon $100. Other guests were rude, leaning over your plate at the buffet or simply taking your sunbed the moment you walked away. We requested a late check-out and were told it wasn’t possible, yet no one checked into our room after we left.||||Pros (The Very Few)|| • Responsive Management: To their credit, whenever we raised a serious issue with the managers, they dealt with it straight away.|| • Evening Buffet: The food in the main restaurant during the evening service was quite good.|| • Kids’ Club Activities: The club itself was excellent for children’s activities. However, this comes with a severe warning: DO NOT let your child use the toilets there. They are horrifically unsanitary.||||Conclusion: Do Not Go Here||Despite the managers’ efforts to fix individual problems, a holiday shouldn’t be a constant battle. The failures in basic service, hygiene, and quality were relentless. This was not a relaxing experience; it was a stressful and unpleasant one.||We will never return, and we strongly advise anyone reading this to save their money and book elsewhere. Avoid the...

This hotel is beautifully located directly on a long stretch of beach. With beautiful straw umbrellas, windbreakers, and a bar. If you like things a little quieter, head to the left until you reach a bridge you can head over and use that beach too as it used to belong to the closed Jasmine hotel. The same goes for pools. If you want loud, fun, and lively head down to the 2 pools by the beach, for quiet and calm, there is the Jasmine pool near the large cages housing monkeys. There is a bar and a spa at both pools. No sunbed shortages at all, and if you ask, then the pool guys will sort you out. The water park is great, with 3 areas, 1 for toddlers, one for children up to 12, and the main slides in between the 2. Service is 5* once you have tipped! - little and often I found got me everything I could want and more but don't feel pressured to as the staff are lovely either way. Deluxe room was beautiful but I do think the cleaners could pay a little more attention to detail, the shower did not drain well at all and was quite grubby, coffee and creamer weren't replenished every day and not sure the bedding was changed at all! However, we did have some lovely towel creatures made for us! Air con, layout, shower pressure, and temperature were all brilliant, and beds were very comfortable for us. There are a couple of free buggies that run up and down the resort all day so if you don't fancy the walk from the beach to the main restaurant you won't have to wait long for one. If you tip at the beach restaurant or any bar, you will get your drinks in a glass, and you will get table service. If you don't, then you will have plastic cups and need to go up to the bar yourself. Once you have tipped, they will remember you and your order or where you like to sit in the main restaurant or will put you a sunbed exactly where you want it. The grounds are stunning, constantly being tended to by the gardeners. The cuisine restaurants make a nice change from the buffet and the food is very nice. You can book these 11-1 at guest relations in reception. Lovely kids play area and a kids club we didn't use. The bracelet and sand bottle stores are very reasonable and lovely guys. Bought 3 amazing bracelets for £5.33 and a couple of medium sand bottles for about £7 each. The jewellers are reasonable, but my ring broke, took it back to be fixed, and then the minute I wore it again, it broke again. I bought 2 pandora charms, a ring and a gold plated necklace for £80 with a lot of haggling. I feel I got ripped off in the bag and perfume shop near Jasmine Beach, but that's my own fault. Senzo mall isn't far at all, and I would definitely recommend buying any snacks from Spinneys there. Water is replenished daily in the room although it was out of date by a couple of weeks. The overall vibe of the hotel left me not wanting to leave even after 2 weeks. We had such a chilled, lovely time, being waited on hand and foot, even with the constants pestering from the guys at the spa, the sea trips and safari! Get a red flag when on the beach! Got to know some of them quite well they like a chat even if you don't want to buy and after a few days they get the message!

Review of the hotel: Cons: The downside of the first and the main one is expensive, compared! When you compare prices, this hotel is very expensive, although it is not something outstanding. I spent the same money relaxing in a new ideal hotel in Malta, with a rooftop pool, sea views, super service, perfect design, great rooms, bathrobes, slippers, and a very nice interior everywhere, and much more. And then you pay more and get a room basically cleaned, has dust and stains. The trash bin in the bathroom has stains. An unpleasant shower in the room, which leaks to the floor all over the bathroom and has yellowing walls. Overall, the hotel looks aged. It would be nice to update it a little. There are advantages, but they are few for the price offered. The food is so-so: there is a lot of food for breakfast and lunch, but there is nothing to eat, since more than half of the food is tasteless and unhealthy. Here's an example: I don't want to eat beans in tomatoes or pasta in milk for breakfast, or a dark pink sausage with a disgusting taste, or an almost rubber doughnut that doesn't cut with a knife. At the same time, I would like to take scrambled eggs, but you can't just take them because there is a cook who cooks scrambled eggs at your request, but to get to it, you have to stand in line for ten minutes from everyone who also wants to. By the way, a separate joke is dinner: you can eat in the main restaurant, or you can eat in other specialized restaurants (Japanese, Italian, etc.). The main restaurant is the same as breakfast: noise, a lot of people, everyone runs around and takes different food for themselves and stands in line for food of individual cooks. And the specialty restaurant where you came, sat down and given a plate of something related to the country. The problem is that you can't just go to a specialized restaurant: you need to come to the hotel lobby at 11:00 and make an appointment for today or tomorrow. Otherwise, no way. You can come to the appointment later than 11:00, for example, at 12:00, but then there are no seats left for today and tomorrow. So you have to leave the beach at 11:00 and go to the looby at this time, which is not very convenient. Plus, there are sups rental outlets on the beach, and windsurfing. They all belong to the hotel, but the problem is that the equipment is quite old or generally replaced, for example, there are no sups, and instead they use a wind surfing board without a sail. Pros: There are many beautiful places on the hotel grounds. Very beautiful houses outside (but depending on what your room is, there are many different sections and there are some beautiful and some not outstanding). Beautiful landscape design, many plants and flowers. A clean beach with sand. The shore is without stones or grass. Overall: If you like the kind of vacation where you have to lie by the pool or on the beach and have not been to quality European hotels, and have not traveled much at all, you will like it. For those who went abroad for the first time at the sea, you will be fine. If you have traveled a lot, you will not like the food, bartenders, drinks and shower in the room at this hotel.
