Gina Motel — Hotel in South Sinai

Amazing stay in Dahab with perfect location - it is within the Promenade (walking/shopping area) of Dahab, where you can find many dive shops, ocean-view restaurants, trendy cafes, and small bazaars by the beach and of course the beach is just two blocks away. Hanna, the host has arranged the taxi for us, to pick us up from Taba Port with a very reasonable and fair price. When we reached, he was waiting at the main street to help us to carry our luggages, and gave us a free upgrade to a big room, and additional hours to check-out after we had the morning dip at the sea (subjected to room availability). And he went extra miles to help to keep our luggages safely after check-out. He shared with us very useful tips and recommendation for tours and activities, he did provide money exchange and bicycle rental at very good rate. Not to forget about the roof top terrace with super nice view, drinking water, coffee and tea provided at all time. Bonus Point: If you would like to catch a bus to Sharm El Sheik/Cairo, the bus station is just 3 minutes walking distance. My daughter and I stayed at Gina motel for 5 days based on a friend’s recommendation. We did not regret it a bit. Hanna(the owner) is a decent friendly guy who gets out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable. We truly felt we were at a friend’s place.. the motel is kept clean and is well maintained. There is a kitchen for the guests to share. You can make coffee and tea anytime for no additional costs. Moreover, the rooftop is also very nicely designed with plenty of room to sit and relax and have something to drink( which you can prepare yourself in the kitchenette on the roof). In addition, Hanna helped me out with great recommendations for places in Dahab to visit. Also, he helped us with getting a trusted driver to take us around Dahab. I seriously loved staying here. It was so nice to have a comfortable and easy place to stay that was super close to the dive shops and good food.

The staff here were also super super helpful and friendly. When we paid for laundry here they folded everything and bagged it super nicely for us. Plus, our room was super cozy, clean, with a good temp (they have a/c which was clutch for being there during the summer).

The location is nice too because it's a short walk to the main strip of stores, restaurants, and dive shops but it's far enough away from the main strip that it was still quiet in our room at night (which was so needed for our early morning dives).
