Everyday Cafe — Restaurant in South Sinai

It was the worst experience that i had in any café, if you’re considering spending your birthday there, please don’t , staff was disrespectful and impolite. We went there for this special event with very high expectations considering it is the oldest and most popular café in dahab, but all we found was disrespect and the overpriced menu and the staff trying to charge us for anything extra. On the same day we went there at 11:am to reserve a good sea view table and as it was important for us we went to reserve it by ourselves and not by phone, one of the staff said we will have to come again at 6:00 because that’s when the night shift starts, we left and went back again as he asked, that time they told us the table will be reserved for us and for the birthday but we will have to come at the time of the concert (just so they can charge us 100EGP per person even though we were free all day and we didn’t pick the time). We made a reservation with the name of the birthday girl and her phone number and the time of arrival and payed a deposit. They told us to come by at 9pm, two hours before the concert to help us with the balloons and decorations. When we arrived at 9:00 pm our table was taken, staff kept telling us are you mistaken for somewhere else ? Are you sure this is the right cafe ? They made us feel unwanted and like we asked for their services for free, after that we were completely ignored just standing there, they told us to sit in a different table until the one we wanted was ready, we wanted for an hour or an hour and a half until it was ready, during that time no one asked us if you wanted to drink anything or need anything they just ignored us, after we moved to the table we kept asking for their help we were ignored, after arguing with the one we payed the deposit to we just told him we need two simple things to order a cake and to help us with the decorations, all they ever did was telling us your decorations wont work so we did those ourselves without any help and the order with terrible and messy handwriting not even as requested and the flattest molten cake i have ever seen( didnt even write her name as requested just wrote HBD in huge letters and claimed there was no space left), we kept seeing staff making the band sing birthday songs to other guests and and when we requested we were ignored not even a birthday songs was played, no help with decorations, terrible hand writing and not even paying attention to us to make an order. My friend’s birthday was ruined and she was really sad and she felt ignored on her special day and that other people’s birthday mattered...

I want to share my experience at everyday resturant because they were unprofessional and rude Me and my pregnant wife ordered pasta pesto and mushroom burger with no mayo They brought the pasta and a bacon burger with mayo underside So i called the waiter and explained to him that they made a mistake and that we ordered mushroom burger not bacon and that there is mayo in it which we chose the cheese mushroom burger to avoid both because my wife is pregnant so he took the order and returned it again after few minutes its the same burger patty with mayo still on the underside and he put on top some mushroom with no cheese So i called him again and explained that its the same patty with mayo underneath and that we dont want mayo not just to remove the bacon So a second waiter came and i further explained to him that bringing me the same burger with mayo underneath is not acceptable for me so he was really unprofessional and told me i cant just throw the beef patty and took the plate and left...after a while he came with what we have ordered finally Afterwards it was plain rude treatment from them i called a waiter which he came up and the first thing he told me " do you want the check" so i ordered another drink and a dessert and when he brought it he said out of nowhere theres a band coming at 10:30 and you would have to pay a minimum charge of 200 pounds per person + 100 tickets and would have to sit in another place cause apparently they dont let you sit at the seaside seats if you are less than 4 persons Apart from their rude treatment and bad quality food The place is beautiful and full...

My recent experience at Everyday Cafe was terrible. We walked in as a group of four and were told there was a 150-pound minimum charge per person, plus a 50-pound ticket fee for an event. We agreed, sat down, and ordered a fruit platter and four shishas. Within just five minutes, the event ended. Naturally, we asked the waiter why we were charged for an event that was over. His response? ‘You should’ve asked when it would end.’ Completely unprofessional.

I told him that wasn’t acceptable, and instead of apologizing, he accused me of being rude. Things escalated quickly. The manager, a guy with long hair who seemed like a friend of the waiter, came over and sided with him without even listening to us. He accused me of being in the wrong, and suddenly, I had five or six staff members surrounding me, trying to intimidate me. The waiter was staring me down, clearly trying to provoke me, while the manager refused to make him step away.

On top of that, I later checked the menu and saw that they overcharged us. The fruit platter, which the waiter said was 300 pounds, was actually listed at 250. The place was also dirty, with sticky floors and unclean tables.

As I left, three other staff members followed me outside, calling me names and threatening me. I felt genuinely unsafe and had to run to my car. This whole place is overpriced, unclean, and run by rude, unprofessional staff. They overcharge and then try to intimidate you when you question it.
