Mercure Tallinn — Hotel in Tallinn

Hotel is located within walking distance from airport terminal (approx. 5-7 mins), just opposite you will find 2 huge shopping malls.

My room was on the 4th floor, carpeted, aircon, minibar, desk, safe & coffee/tea which was restocked every day. Bed was comfy. TV with VERY limited selection. Bathroom was of good size, with a tiny shower in the corner with a curtain which is sticking to your body while taking the shower. soap in dispensers.

Breakfast starts at 7am (unusual for an airport hotel) was good, plenty of choices on hot and cold items. I would prefer to have more breadchoices as it was only white bread. Staff were friendly. The weather was brilliant on my stay, however you were not allowed to sit outside on the terrace!?

There is a lobbybar and the open terrace, when it opens. I get that smoking is not allowed inside, find it strange that people can not have a ciggy on an open terrace- I was told that guests do not like smoke...Well I am a guest and I do smoke. You can go to the parking lot to have your ciggy- not appealing when trying to work. Guess that exclude me...

We stayed at this hotel as we had a very early morning flight out of Tallinn. The employee who checked us in answered all our questions and was helpful. When my husband asked, given the hotel was very close to the airport, how many flights would arrive or depart overnight the attendant was able to give us that information. She upgraded us to another room. Although she didn't say so, it was at the front of the hotel, away from the airport, so I suspect it was due to my husband's noise concern. We did not have any issue with plane noise during out stay. The employee was also helpful in understanding how to walk to the airport (a 10 minute walk), and what time to leave in the morning to catch our flight (as we didn't know how busy the airport would be). The hotel itself was clean, as was our room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel was located about a 25-minute bus ride from the Tallinn old town. Hi, Recommended to Accor members and other guests. The hotel room service overall was good. I don't have any complaints about the room and the hotel cleaning. The hotel room bed was very good and comfortable. One thing I should mention is that the blanket was longer size and suitable for two people. The cleaning lady cleaned the room and bathroom properly. The towels were good, but i did not see a bathrobe in the room. Overall, the room was soundproof, so you don't hear any noise from the airport. Unfortunately, there is no coffee machine in the room. The room has a business desk, but i didn't see any calendar, notepad and pen on the desk. The breakfast was good but the baking items were not sufficient. Waffles were missing from the breakfast. The hotel male receptionist might need training on smiling. In the hotel reception, they are still using plastic pens and plastic cards to access hotel rooms, so the hotel needs to focus more on wooden-based products.
