Olaf Grill Resto — Restaurant in Tallinn

Scammers!! That place is more like a trap than a restaurant. I was there today they charged me 4.20 for a small bottle of water! Initially I asked for tapwater but they told me they don’t serve any. Then when I was about to pay I said that I think there must be a mistake because my main meal was €14 and the total was 18.2€, so the lady checked it and told me “oh sorry I made a mistake it is 17.6€ (so 3.6€ for a small bottle of non branded water). And she said u could have asked for tap water instead it’s only 3€!! So do they serve tap water or not? And they charge for the tap water? That’s illegal… I have no wonder any more why the place was totally empty when at the same time the next one was full… Not...

Avoid, not worth it.

Place is clean, service was ok. Food is where it starts to break down.

Ordered a steak Burger (this is the most expensive Burger option at ülemiste).

What did I get: Fries were good, quite enjoyed it Burger also looked good visually Taste is ok, nothing special. Babyback or other joints does it better for similar or lower price level. Burger patty, since it's a stake, is such a bad idea. The type of meat chosen just doesn't work. It's very chewy and feels like rubber. I couldn't really finish it, as it was physically uneatable ! Everything turned into a mess and you only get a single napkin by default.

Have been visiting this place 4-5 times a year, as it has always been perfect combination of food quality, service and pricing. Now something has changed, appetiser and main was brought in same time. By the time we got to mains, it was cold. On top, duck was oversalted and not medium, steak was ordered medium but got it well done. Also salted way too much. Service - as told, all brought in at once. When we finished appetiser, nobody cared to take plates away, needed to stock them on the table our own. There were people in 3-4 tables, so not overcrowded.

Its not worth the pricing asked...
