It was a big mistake to choose this hotel based on reviews. The hotel is in a great location and that's where the positives end. The bed is terrible, made up of two parts on top of which they put two narrow mattresses that move apart during sleep and you can easily find yourself in a hole between them! An ingenious design decision to place the sink right in the room behind a glass partition will allow you to wake up at night when your partner washes his hands after using the toilet. A stunning view of the wall will also not leave you indifferent. You should definitely check it out! Separately, I would like to mention the famous Michelin restaurant at the hotel. Arriving for dinner, we were refused with the wording "the waiters are overloaded with orders and it is better to book a table in advance", despite the fact that we are hotel guests and there were not so many customers and there were plenty of free tables. After the intervention of the hotel administrator, we were given a table. Imagine my disappointment when I saw the menu. The choice of food is very small. And since we were with a child, we had to look for another place, because the restaurant does not have a children's menu, not even soups, but for the child they offered a jar of baby food. Parking is worth a special mention. Lucky we were in a small car. If you are going to visit this hotel in something like s-class or gl, be prepared to park in a very tight space, the entrance itself is very narrow and not the fact that a large car will pass...
Read moreBest Hotel on our 10 day trip from Vilnius to Tallinn. Would have loved to stay a second night!!! Everything was perfect. The only thing that preoccupied us a short while, is that the AC didn't seem to work properly at first. It didn't cool down as we wanted it to. Staff then explained to us that the AC only cools down while someone's in the room. After dinner I spent some time in the spa and my husband relaxed in the room. When I came back it had cooled down by 2 degrees. 😀 Told the reception to give this information to the guests upon check in. That would prevent a lot of unnecessary complaints. I really enjoyed the Spa. Opening hours are very good. Most of the hotels we stayed at, closed the Spa at 21:00. That made it impossible to use them. One detail we really appreciated: there is a socket "inside" the safe. Never seen that before. Very practical if you need to charge your device while it's inside the safe. Breakfast was great too. Staff super friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend this hotel and will come back one...
Read moreIt is a pretty hotel in a good location. They just don't care about their guests, only about providing absolute minimum of services. I got 2 emails and a text asking me to check in online so that registration desk wouldn't have to enter that info themselves. However they didn't mention that I have to reserve parking in advance so we don't have to find street parking far away. Of course the garage was full and we had to find street parking and pay for it. Hotel also didn't bother asking if we want 2 small or one big bed, and assigned us 2 children beds. You would think that in 2 emails they sent they could check? Slippers are not available in the room "to save the planet". Have to go downstairs to get them. No tea or coffee in the room - go to the reception to get them. Aren't 4 star hotels provide them in rooms? And when we ran out of tissues and asked for urgent replacement (allergies!) It took over 2 hours and second (irritated) request to get a box. This was the worst hotel in our lovely 2 week...
