An amazing 30 years old Toy Museum with so interesting and varied collections, museographic excellence and the most warm thus professional team.The exhibitions are at the same time educational and amuzing and everybody is feeling more than welcome to discover every little corner of the Museum, with olenty tangible exhibits or games. The historical building itself is like a doll house,making you feel like entering the magic world of your childhood. Don't forget to visit the playroom If you're planning to visit in 2024,you have to see the temporary exhibition for sure!!!!

We visited the Tartu Toy Museum as a family of three — parents and a child — and really enjoyed it! It’s a lovely, nostalgic place full of charm and history. Our child was fascinated by all the toys and interactive exhibits, and we spent a great time exploring everything together.

What could be improved:

It would be helpful to have clearer signs or numbers showing where to go next — sometimes it was a bit confusing to find the right direction.

One of the sinks had a small issue — when we tried to wash our hands, the water started flowing too strongly.

We really enjoyed our visit! However, because of the small issues mentioned above, we would love to give 4.5 stars, but unfortunately, it’s only...

I really enjoyed this museum, especially my son. Museum is quite big, so it is not like for 5 minutes visit. Two floors, many rooms with very different toys. It was very nice to see old toys from 90th, so nastolgic. What I really liked that there are many places for playing also, and a small but cosy food court with an drink and food machines. Even once you should visit this place if you stay in Tartu with your kids. The only complaint is about parking, it was quite hard to find free parking there, because I'm not local and didn't manage how to pay for parking, as there are no parking...
